• Reviewing medical prescriptions to assure accuracy and suitability of the item being bought by the customer.
• Providing information and advice regarding drug intakes, interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication and storage.
• Analyzing prescribing trends to monitor product demand and patient(user)-compliance
• Responsible for the sales and items being sold in the pharmacy.
• Sending Demand of Products/medicines on regular basis to the head office and assuring the proper supply.
• Responsible for ordering, regular and bounced product, stocking/storing and handling of pharmaceutical supplies, drugs and medical supplies in the pharmacy.
• Maintaining records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, and registries of narcotics and controlled drugs being sold.
• Ensuring Company policy and procedures for managing date expiry stock.
• Offering health promotion and prevention activities, for example, training people to use devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors which are being sold in the pharmacy.
• Referring customers/patients to other health professionals and agencies when appropriate.
• Adhering to Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.
• Performing other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the head/s of the department.
• Providing expert customer care to every customer like patient interaction; warm welcome; establish needs; product recommendation and finishing strong.
• Serves as a role model and represents the department in a professional manner.
• Giving Random Internal Branch Audits to the Sales staff on Daily basis.
• Training lower graded personnel.
