equipment is maintained to standard. Ensuring
efficient performance of the mobile laboratory unit
on site. Providing daily reports on drilling operations
to the customer Ensuring the process flow of the
entire drilling operation.

Duties: Managing and directing the research and
development programs to meet organizational
needs and to capitalize on potential new products.
Developing and implementing research and
development procedures and techniques. Analyzing
results and providing recommendations based on
findings. Assessing the scope of research projects
and ensuring they are on time and within budget.

finished product

Developing and validating methods for
analyzing and producing products to ensure they
meet specifications and document those methods in
standard operating procedures (SOPs) and
production records Auditing quality control,
production and sales functions, and other records to
ensure compliance with SOPs Assisting quality
control staff with troubleshooting and resolving
unusual problems. Determining customer
requirements and translate them into product
development goals. Analysing data to derive
inferences on product changes and communicate to
marketing and R&D groups. Monitoring all
operations that affect quality. Ensuring that all
safety procedures are followed during production.
Sample collections and water quality monitoring.

Working in wellsite units collecting,
processing, logging and analyzing geological
samples; Using various laboratory techniques to
evaluate detailed and complex data for signs of oil
or gas; Monitoring computer recordings of drillings;
Interpreting information and feeding it back to the
drilling team to enhance safety and success;
Operating and maintaining a real-time computer
based data acquisition system, the advanced
logging system (ALS), which records all aspects of
rig activity; Undertaking some on-site maintenance,
for which knowledge of electrical and mechanical
systems is useful; Taking on the primary health and
safety role for the well through constant monitoring
of all critical drilling parameters; Predicting
dangerous situations, such as over-pressured
formations; Assisting the wellsite geologist during
coring operations; Reporting to the wellsite
geologist and the oil company in written reports;
Worked In: 1- South Sudan / Onshore. 2- Saudi
Arabia / Offshore and Onshore. 3- Turkmenistan /
Offshore. 4- Qatar / offshore.

Collecting drill cuttings. Describing the
cuttings (type of minerals present). Interpreting the
described cuttings (lithology). Estimating properties
such as porosity and permeability of the drilled
formation. Maintaining and monitoring drilling
related and safety-related sensing equipment.
Estimating the pore pressure of the drilled
formation. Collecting, monitoring, and evaluating
hydrocarbons released from the drilled formations.
Assessing the producibility of hydrocarbon-bearing
formations. Maintaining a record of drilling
parameters. Maintaining costs and ensuring
efficient maintenance of all mud logging equipment.
Ensuring compliance to all client requirement and
preparing reports accordingly.
Worked in : 1- Egypt / offshore and Onshore 2- Italy
/ offshore.

Petroleum cargo surveying, full quality and quantity
inspection for crude oil and petroleum products in
compliance with international standards to ensure
that the product quality is in agreement with the
contractual specification. Monitoring loading and
unloading of various petroleum products in the
refinery. Calculating hold capacity of the vessel and
measuring appropriate quantity of goods. Analysing
data obtained from various cargo surveys.
