Responsible for Development and execution of the e-QDB Strategy. The e-QDB strategy includes the strategic and tactical planning for enabling QDB with highly secured IT platform, IT solutions, and IT services that support the business demands and the strategic objectives. This includes entire Banking solutions, payment services, Business Applications, Internet Banking services, CRM, IT infrastructure, and Business Continuity. Responsible for IT Security and ensuring high level of compliance with the regulations from Qatar Central Bank and ictQatar.
Accomplishments
• Developing e-QDB strategy including three years tactical planning
• Established IT policy, procedures, and IT governance models using COBIT & ITIL standards.
• Building state-of-art Datacenter, TIA standard 943, for supporting QDB business growth.
• Improved IT department productivity by implementing efficient IT projects and services management system.
• Reduced cost and enhanced productivity by implementing set of integrated solutions like Business Intelligence (SAP Business Object), Enterprise Business Portal (Sharepoint), ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX), Document Management (Documentum), SMS, Core Banking (TCS BANCS), payment services Qatch & Swift.
• Improve Customer Services and increase customer’s satisfaction by automating the customer end-to-end business process within CRM platform. Currently QDB is moving to Internet Banking for better customer services.
• Provide QDB management with the effective reporting platform for better decision-making.
• Redesign the entire IT infrastructure architecture to highly secured network, and establish IT information Security operations (CISCO Network, HP & IBM Servers, MS & UNIX O.s, Symantec EP, Solera, Nexthink, Secunia, and other technologies).
Supervise and maintain the organization’s repository of business applications and services, through best practices, and the appropriate staffing & management. Responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for the provision of user applications, and systems necessary for business operations. Applying effective communication and problem-solving skills to guide, and assist the user group on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. Coordinate business cases, RFP, and Tenders for software and system products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings. The responsibility of providing the necessary business solution for all QPM subsidiaries and projects in Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Morooco, Yeman, and Syria.
Accomplishments

• Established integrated Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) to manage the entire back-office operations including Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, General Services, Payroll, and the Management Reporting.

• Provide QDB management with the effective reporting platform for better decision-making.
• Built Document Control process automation within Enterprise Document Management solution for the Head-office and the projects.
Responsible for implementation and supporting the business solution for INC customers, this includes ERP, CRM, Islamic Leasing, HR solutions, Logistics Solutions, Manufacturing Solution, Business Portals, Website development, Business Process Automation, Business Intelligence and Reporting. Responsible for managing the business solution projects and the increase the up-selling activities by offering advanced solutions to the customers. Delivering the projects within budget, scope, quality, deadlines, and ensure customer satisfactions. Maintaining customers relationship by providing support after project completion.
