Click to edit position description- Gathering, analysis, and evaluation of commercial inputs/requirements, and formulation into technical specifications. Liaising closely with vendors, stakeholders, and business support units.
- Conducting technical feasibility studies on new emerging technologies and potential new services.
- Planning, design, testing, and implementing service/offers policies configurations utilizing hands-on experience & solid knowledge of Ericsson SACC (PCC/SAPC, PISC) according to business rules.
- Design, plan, control of technical projects, and execute project work plans as well; for integration, expansion and upgrades, and revises HLD/LLD proactively & re-actively to meet changing challenges and requirements (Capacity Dimensioning, Performance, and Availability)
- Handled end-to-end project planning & management for below projects:
1- PS Core Network Swap: project scope includes live network services/traffic migration from Ericsson nodes (SGSN's, GGSN's, SAPC, SASN, IPWorks) to Huawei (USN, UGW, UPCC).
2- Ericsson SAPC2010A Upgrade to 2012A.
3- LTE & WiFi Overloading Trials.
- RFPs, RFQs, Business Case, Configuration Management
- Integrate and accept new solutions, nodes, features, interfaces (Gb, Iu, Gr, Gn, Gp, Gx, Gy, S6a, S1, S5/S8, S10, S11, SGs), and handling service requests (APN’s configurations, mass provisioning, testing, and validation)
- Change Management; Assessment, Planning, Coordination, and Evaluation.
- Experienced troubleshooting, configuring, and administrating PS Core H/W; Ericsson (SGSN-MME, GGSN-EPG, SAPC, IPWorks), Huawei (USN, UGW, UPCC), and BIND DNS.
- Handling 2nd line operational support, E2E performance management, service requests/complaints, and minor/major changes & incidents supporting a multi-vendor (Ericsson & Huawei) PS Core network, to ensure high-availability and contagiously optimized efficiency of all network elements and resources through implementing best practice processes.
- Application Management; administration and support of Health Insurance ERP system/servers (Oracle Enterprise Application Server - Middleware Fusion), and liaising with vendor & management.
- Handling ERP changes/updates in coordination with vendor & system users; analysing, testing, verifying, & installing update patches
- Windows Domain implementation and administration; installation of Windows Server 2008 Domain Controller. Configuration and administration of Active Directory services, (DNS, DHCP, Mail, File, and Print Servers), and Windows deployment.
- Implemented a Linux based cost-effective Unified Communications Server (IP-PBX, Call Center, IM)
- Managing IT infrastructure, vendors, suppliers, and network resources; Routers, Switches, PC's, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Internet, Network Storage, security and policies.
