• Work as a Substation commissioning engineer(SWGR) in DEWA -TCD "Dubai Electricity and Water Authority "., responsible for transmission s/s turnkey projects of various voltage classes 400, 132, 33, 11 & 0.4kV including the followings:
✓ Improvements of reliability & contingency of the transmission system, quality of transmission system.
✓ Including ( GIS "400kV & 132kV ", transformer, distribution & LV SWGR, Capacitor banks, shunt reactor, protection components, transmission cables &OHTL, MV & LV cables
✓ Ensuring of OH & safety, DEWA quality policy & contribute to achieve the vision & mission of DEWA
✓ Documents verifications like (FAT reports, MOM, safe receipt and approved drawings for various equipments.
✓ Verifications of calibration reports of various test equipments, testing engineer's approval, witnessing the site precommissioning testing conducted by the contractor and find out any nonconformities.
✓ Verifications of red markup drawings, site test reports, preparations of snag list, site note clearance and snags clearance.
✓ Minimize the time taken to commission substations by effective utilization of own skills and available resources.
✓ Give suggestions for improvements in any area within the authority scope.
• Work as a " Maintenance Engineer" in the(Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company) ) in Alexandria Zone:
Responsible for routine and overhaul maintenance of switchgear and GIS in 22 substations in Alexandria Zone including:
✓ Various types of GIS S/S (Siemens, ABB, BBC, AEG, MITSUBISIHI, MG, ALSTHOM …)
✓ And various kinds of circuit breakers (out/in door, MV, LV, HV, Sf6, Vacuum, Compressed Air, Min. oil, Bulk oil) in addition to isolators and disconnectors
✓ SF6 gas Handling on GIS and Conventional switchgear
✓ GIS and convential switchgears erection and installation works
✓ Technical reports performing
• Work as a " Protection Engineer" in the(Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company) ) in Alexandria Zone:
✓ Deal with a lot of Relays(digital, static and mechanical) testing, Adjusting and fault troubleshooting and digital relays programming
✓ Deal with Wiring diagrams and relaying diagrams
✓ Dealing with instrument transformers and it's operation
