Job Title: logistics specialist Duties:
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
• Track orders via courier scanner to ensure timely deliveries
• Accepting payments for delivered items
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaintsfrom clients
• Coordinate our operation procedures to maximize quality of delivery
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
• Oversee the levels of our warehouse load and plan accordingly
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Duties:
• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
• Receives products and coordinates delivery
• Prepares loads for shipment
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
• Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
