"Mechanical Engineer (DCU-NHT-DHT-DEU-CCR-Flare Area)
• Responsible For Supervising Erection and Construction Activities of rotating Equipment(compressors-pumps- chemical injection packages -Air cooler-decoking system-coke handling system-) According To Applicable Code, Contract Specification and Engineering Concepts) during construction phase
• Supervise and follow up alignment work , installation of seal systems and lube oil skid and its piping for rotary equipment
• Ensure that all sub-contractors are complying with project safety rules
• And procedures.
• Supported plant operations and maintenance on rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
• follow up all sup contactors work According to site quality standers
• Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to mechanical groups of sub-contractor.
• Prepare for lube oil flushing for All rotary equipment
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
• Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
• Ensure preservation procedures and schedule is developed by vendors.
• Develop plan and schedule for preservation activities.
• Identify resources necessary to execute the preservation plan
• Ensure that all construction and preservation work is performed in an Incident and Injury Free manner
• prepare for solo run test and load test for rotating equipment of the site during pre-commissioning phase
• Reviewing and approving vendor documentation for rotating equipment.
• Prepare technical method statements for rotary equipment different jobs as Company required
• Provide assistance to Sub-Contractors as required
• Performs other related duties as may be required by the Mechanical Manager.
Mechanical maintenance Engineer
Managed maintenance, troubleshooting, start up and repair for all rotary mechanical equipment and hydraulic systems like (pumps, Air coolers, compressors, gearboxes, bridge crane, overhead cranes, and hydraulic filters)
• Erection and Installation for new mechanical equipment
• Scheduled planned maintenance programs and ensure that they are carried out in time and efficiently, direct day to day maintenance and repair work including preventive and repair .
• inform the management of the new machinery that might be required for the factory - Prepared and managed spare parts for all Equipment- Making history of all replacement of spare part for each m/c and each pump
• Diagnose mechanical equipment faults or failures in a systematic and methodical way, in order to rectify issues in a timely manner.
• Preparing shut down job lists- Make lists for the shutdown requirements (spare parts).
• Follow up maintenance and break downs activity during shift
• Managed maintenance, repair & troubleshooting of 200 mechanical Equipment including compressors, blowers, pumps, hydraulic systems, heat exchangers, gears, hydraulic filters, agitators, cooling towers & piping
• Prepared and managed spare parts for all Equipment- Making history of all replacement of spare part for each m/c and each pump.
• make regular checks for the maintenance of the machines and repair the part that need to be replaced
• Supervise and follow up the maintenance team and evaluate their performance
