• Manage the mechanical section projects from inception to completion, including cost estimation, budgeting, and monitoring of expenses.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure that mechanical designs meet project requirements and compliance standards.
• Review shop drawings, Coordination layouts for mechanical works before execution.
• Review and analyze project documents to determine scope of work, materials, and equipment needed for mechanical systems.

Inspect and record construction works (HVAC - Fire Fighting - Plumbing - Irrigation - Infrastructure - Medical Gas, etc) carried out by the contractor on site and resolve the site generated issues.
Ensure performance of the work carried out accordance with the approved drawings and
specification.
Managing creating consultant’s specification and bill of quantities.
Review and coordination of mechanical engineering submittals from contractors, as well as following up site supervision, design conflicts and variation orders for the client.
Attend and lead progress & technical meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals. Coordinate with quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change orders.
Review and approve the shop drawings, material submittals with respect to the project Specification
and Standards of practice submitted by contractors.
Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works. Assures the contractor’s design and material deliverables are as per project requirements. Managing technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and utility providers. Responsible for the development of project mechanical works close-out strategy and review of
documentation such as record drawings and O&M manuals provided by the contractor.
Reviewing all testing and commissioning activities and liaison with the independent commissioning
authority.

• Liaise between the construction and engineering teams ensuring the harmony between engineering team requirements and construction team deliverables.

• Monitors construction contractor's mechanical installation and testing activities, including, but not limited to piping, leak tests, duct work & insulation, pumps, building management system, HVAC controls, domestic water systems and firefighting system…etc.
• Witnesses contractors' quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, approved drawings and specifications.
• Reviews design issued by engineering department, contractor-submitted shop and as-built drawings, materials submittals, tie-in procedures, project schedules, and work permit.
• Reviews contractors' mechanical quality assurance and quality control programs, inspection and test plans, installation, testing, and as-built procedures, for all mechanical engineering systems and comments for transmittal to the contractors.
• Arrange meetings between the contractor and concerned departments to resolve interfacing problems during construction.
• Assists the Project Controls Cost Engineer by reviewing contractors' invoices for the correctness of installed quantities for the mechanical portion of the permanent works.
Lead and manage mechanical engineering activities for assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Provide technical guidance and expertise on mechanical design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Review design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with project
requirements and best practice industry standards. Supervise mechanical construction works. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor construction
progress to ensure quality and timely completion of work. Implement quality control processes to ensure mechanical systems meet the highest standards of
performance and safety. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deficiencies.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth
integration of mechanical systems with overall project requirements. Coordinate with different trades
to resolve conflicts and ensure proper sequencing of work.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare and present weekly reports to clients and management on project status, key milestones, and performance metrics. Projects: -

Responsible of completing Mechanical installation, testing and commissioning (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire
Fighting, other specific mechanical activities) Prepare Shop Drawings, Co-ordination layouts and As Built layouts and getting consultant’s approval. Responsible of materials estimation and generates BOQ of required HVAC, Fire Fighting and
Plumbing materials for project duration. Generate/Review material requisitions, submittals, LPOs and ensure contract performance measures
are met. Ensure that all mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop
drawings, method statements, specification and work plan.
