May 2008 - Present: Working as Petrol Station Solutions Department Manager. Responsible on all activiteis related to Petrol Station Automation Solutions including: Marketing, Presales, Sales, Implementation and Support Services.
April 2007 - May 2008: Working as Support Team Leader for Applications and Infrastructure. Applications include: Petrol Station Automation Project, Driving License Issuance System, National Database for Photos. Infrastructure include: Microsoft Products, IBM Servers and Storages.
May 2005 - April 2007: Working as Application Support Team Leader. I'm leading a technical support team of 15 engineeers and technicians for different products such as: Oracle, OpenText, BMC Magic, and projects such as: Petrol Station Automation system, Ministery of Interior Driving License & National Database of Photos.
Jan 2002 - May 2005: Working as a Systems Support Engineer and Team Leader for PSA Project (Petrol Station Automation). I’m envolved in supporting Olivetti Unix System V Rel. 4 and Oracle 7 database installed on a Comaq Server in about 100 petrol stations around Kuwait. Also supporting most of hardware devices installed in the station. Also I’m envolved in upgrading petrol station system with Red Hat Linux 8.0 and Oracle 8i+9iRel2.
Working as a Systems Support Engineer for Hummingbird® Products and also supporting the companies network and internet web site. Also I was responsible on the localizion project for Hummingbird products to Arabic language. I worked on Ministry of Information Document Management project using Hummingbird DOCSFusion®, PowerDOCS and PowerDOCS Imaging. Also I was working on supporting Hummingbird EIP (Enterprise Information Portal).
Working as systems and networking engineer and specialized in Microsoft products. Job duties include:
· Technical Support:
Complete Technical Support for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 based networks from the physical layer upto the application layer. I was also responsible in providing technical solutions to customers needs.
· Technical Training:
I trained MCSE technical courses including:Windows 2000 Server & Professional, Winows NT 4.0 Server & Workstation, TCP/IP, MS-IIS 4.0, MS-Proxy Server 2.0 and MS-SQL Server 2000.
· Internet Supervisor:
Mastering for the company’s official web site ’www.compubusiness.net’, Internet Schools web site ‘www.madares.com’ - which is a database driven web site - and all internet customers.
Working as a technical support engineer responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of Mini-Computers and PC’s as long as a variety of computer peripherals: Terminals, Printers, Modems and MUX’s.
