Major duties and responsibilities:
1- Expanding the market place and the number of retailers on souq.com Kuwait.
2- Maintaining and developing the business of existing suppliers and retailers in terms of goods, products and services offered to souq.com registered customers.
3- Planning the Deal of the Day Program in Kuwait in terms of the variety of offers and promotions at the best costs and the best selling prices.
4- Marketing the major brands carried by souq.com through the web using Google, Facebook and on-line marketing tools.
5- Coordinating the relation between souq.com logistics and finance with the different supplier to make sure souq.com customers get their purchases on time.
6- Managing the relations with major Sports& outdoor vendors for securing their support and rebates.
7- Managing and Planning the Deal of the Day Program in coordination with products specialists, suppliers and sellers.
8- Making sure that given offers are competitive, unique and with premium quality
9- Analyze market information; follow new developments, trends in order to be update on the existing situation on the market.
10- Visit and cooperate with Warehouse, Customer Service & Procurement Departments for product availability, shrinkage reduction and Customers complains
11- Develop and control all promotional activities with the Merchandising & Marketing team to create competitive image and ensure that it reaches target customers in a cost effective manner
12- Recruit, train, develop and manage a small buying team that comprises of Assistant Category Managers and other supporting staff
13- Keep a smooth & deep cooperation between my buying team in connection with suppliers, assortment, and dealing with re-consignment
14- Communicate with Procurement & Logistics Department to secure high level of Fulfilment
• Complete Product Management of the following Brands.
EDNET- ELECOM -EVERON- NU -Extreme - Maxtec - TravelPac including all foreign purchase & procurement with the direct involvement in all the process starts from basic producer to the final customer. (Around 300 sku’s)
• Attended different training sessions inside and outside Kuwait for relevant and non-relevant products and venders.
• Responsible to finalize the deals with major power retailers in Kuwait (Sultan Center, Carrefour, Eureka, LuLu Hyper Market, Virgin Megastores and others)
• Responsible for the development of channel partners.
• Responsible for Market research and identifying potential clients.
• Research and analyze marketing strategies and promotional schemes of the competitors.
• Perform Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats analysis on WB Products in the Kuwait market.
• Organize and attend product promotion events and exhibitions
• Assist in preparation of long term marketing plans and strategies, by generating relevant reports and preparing sales forecasts.
• Responsible for managing RMA procedure for the relevant products.
• Build Business Development for the company and introduce and evaluate the market leaders in IT technology.
