I’m responsible for the newly established Audio Visual department as the head of the team.
My role includes:
- Installation and configuration of the audio visual integrated solution for a lot of important meeting board rooms (detailed examples below)
- Video Conference infrastructure establishing for different customers including HD infrastructure components (like POLYCOM RMX2000- CMA4000 and TANDBERG VCS- Control, VCS-Expressway- Content Recorder- Codian MCU- Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) ) in addition to the HD endpoints with the old devices support as well
- Project and customer handling and support till finishing the project and customer acceptance
- After project end complete support
- Organizing the team resources and controlling it with complete detailed daily report
- Involved with the Pre-Sales team design and helping in taking decisions for putting the final design with the Sales / Pre-Sales Teams.
Installations and Configuration Of network devices (modems, routers, CORE Switches)
Installing and manipulating video conferences systems.
b. Installing and managing Digital / Analog surveillance systems.
I was responsible for installing and managing 26 site covering Cairo Ring Road for TRD.(installation includes PELCO & Vaddio cameras with Telindus encoders PLUS CIS management software in the control room)
I was responsible for installing and managing 34 site covering Cairo for Cairo Traffic.
Installing the main control rooms in both TRD and Cairo Traffic.
c. Installing and configuring the Maritime -Jolie Ville Complete Network (CORE switch, Router, Tipping Point Firewall, Edge Switches) in Sharm Elsheikh
d. Installing and Configuring Polycom Video Conference infrastructure network for the Ministry of Education (MOE) all over Egypt’s different governorates
- Installation includes: POLYCOM endpoints and infrastructure (MGC and path- navigator) in addition to firewall traversals and Codian recordings
. Installation of Core Switches of MOE with firewall blades
e. Responsible For installing and Configuring the Polycom HD video Conference Network for the EUN (Egyptian University Network) over 19 remote site including the main Control Room (RMX2000 MCU—CMA and SE200 gatekeepers - VMC1000 streaming servers - firewall traversals—RSS recording and streaming server - PLUS—Polycom HD endpoints)
f. Providing a technical support for the customers.
Date: From 15 October 2006.
g. Installation and configuring of MOBOTIX surveillance cameras (M12, D12, D12 Outbound and Mobotix Q22 cameras
h. Installation Of PELCO cameras for Mubarak Scientific City with the DVR and Wireless communication between the Cameras and the control room

i. Installation of streaming solutions; like Mediasite at the customer premises. I was responsible for installation and configuration of the Media site recorders and Streaming servers.
Presales Responsibilities
A. Responsible for designing the whole technical solution for the CCTV/Digital video networks, video conference networks, and voice networks solutions, access control solutions.
B. Responsible for the financial offer, P&Ls, RFPs
C. contact the customers and following-up the technical and financial offer
D. following up the market application products and trying to get the benefit of the highest rated products
