Warehouse and Logistics Manager
o Managing a team of over 86 plus employees.
o Making up customer orders for delivery and pickup.
o Manage warehouse costing, budgeting and forecasting
o Verifying assembled orders.
o Coordinating the work of the warehouse team.

o Organising the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.

o Controlling warehouse operating costs.
o Reviewing administrative records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.
o Shrink wrapping pallets and stock.
o Keeping the warehouse inventory current.
o Hiring and training up new warehouse staff.
o Reporting directly to the DGM.
o Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
o Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and free of unnecessary obstacles
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock, deliveries and logistics
• Monitor stock levels and carry out periodic stocktakes
• Supervise up to 98 staff members, including preparing weekly rosters and leading staff evaluations
• Interview prospective employees and train new staff members
• Load containers, pallets and trucks for delivery via road and to all states
• Complete paperwork for domestic movements and customs
• Record all stock movement and deliveries in database and prepare regular reports
• Manage warehouse costing, budgeting and forecasting
• Helped implement a new inventory storage system
• Put in place processes to ensure stock integrity

•planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods;
•using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met;

•responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone;
•keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate;

•organising the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress;
•motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded;
•producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
•briefing team leaders on a daily basis;
•visiting customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving;
•maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely;

• Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
• Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities.
• Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.
• Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
• Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices.
• Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments and serving internal customers
Supervise receipt of all shipments. Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed.
Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart.
Load and unload delivery truck by hand or with pallet jack.
Assume responsibility for delivery of all items received by warehouse
Supervise warehousing and storage of all .
Supervise maintenance of computerized inventory records.
Initiate all purchase requests to keep stock items available at all times.
Develop and recommend procedures for orderly replacement of existing movable equipment as it becomes obsolete or deteriorates.
