• Full responsibility for the timely preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly management reports to HQ
• Prepare monthly/Quarterly account analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Lead the month-end/quarter-end closing for all the market within MENA.
• Reviewing General Ledger entries to ensure completeness and accuracy of financials
• Maintain all lease accounting and administration, including any monthly reporting requirements.
• Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide IFRS interpretation.
• Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team
• Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
• Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
• Supervise international accounting and issue identification and resolution
• Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
• Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period
• Monitor tax provision calculation and prepare tax return package/filing for the group (KSA, UAE, BH, …)
• Prepared Consolidated financial reporting package (P&L, BS and CF)
• Maintained fixed asset system, ensuring that the system is updated and reconciled to the general ledger
• Analyzed and reconciled key balance sheet accounts on monthly basis, ensuring appropriate controls.
