• Supervise and manage all the Electrical site inspections and approval for the following systems for the infrastructure Work.
• Review the contractor submittals, supervision on installing and testing the following (Generators, MV 34.5 KV / 13.8 KV Cables, Power Transformers, Control Panels, Automatic Voltage Regulator ( AVR), Automatic Transfer Switch( ATS), Bus Coupler/Bus Tie, Protection Panels, Services Transformers, UPS, Dc power supply, Switch Gears, RMU, Batteries, Battery charger, grounding & lightning, Air condition, Cable Trays, LV Panels, HVAC Panel, Lighting Fixtures, Sockets, Wiring, LV cables, Low current, Fire Fighting, Fire alarm and Telecom cables ( SCADA system ), Disconnect switches, KWH Meters and wiring devices) .
• Review and approval of Shop drawings for electrical works, conduits and cable routing and installation details.
• Review and approval of “Inspection & Test Plan (ITP)” for Medium Voltage and Low voltage Electrical and telecommunication systems.
• Reviewing/Evaluating the contractor’s proposals and forward recommendation to client, Provide technical assistance and resolution when the engineering problems encountered.
Preparation of Electrical designs including electrical load estimation, lighting and small power distribution drawings, cable routing, lightning, panel schedules, cable sizing, short circuit calculations, voltage drop calculations and relevant BOQ for the projects which are assigned to me; including the coordination with the other disciplines to meet the client’s needs and requirements to conform to approved codes and standards.
• Responsible for organizing and supervising project teams (Engineers and Draftsmen) by providing technical support and/or advice for developing efficient work.
• Testing and pre-commissioning of Electrical Systems (lighting &small power distribution boards, grounding & lightning system, Transformers, LV & HV Switch Gear, RMU, UPS & Batteries) according to inspection test plans specified to meet the full compliance of the existing Electrical Power systems in the project prior to commissioning.
• Executing Electrical Installations and Design Load estimation.
• Prepare engineering schedules based on the drawings and target milestone.
• Ensuring that the Electrical installations are being carried out at site in compliance with Project Quality Plan
• Apply full maintenance for electrical control panels and motors.
• Apply Preventive Maintenance for factory machines.
• Troubleshooting machines and applies corrective maintenance for machines.
• Submit daily and monthly maintenance records and machines conditions reports.
• Prepare technical specifications for all machines spare parts and equipment.
• Study technical and financial proposals submitted by suppliers for purchasing purposes
• Follow up equipment maintenance process done by subcontractors and specialists
• Supervise storing process and follow up with warehouse keepers to avoid any damage or defects occur due to improper storing.
