GPH is supervises the departments related to the two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah. In Mecca there is the headquarters of the General Presidency for the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, and the Holy Mosque there are religious, technical, service and administrative departments. There are also in Makkah in addition to other departments that follow the presidency is the Institute of the Holy Mosque, the library of the Holy Mosque Makki, and the factory of the Kaaba and the exhibition of the building of the Two Holy Mosques
