• Provide technical leadership and management to a team of IT engineers, DBA's, Network and Security Experts.
• Responsible for the effective delivery of IT to the Group Companies across multiple geographic locations
• Maintain strong IT control environments in accordance with the Group Control Framework,
• Ensure stringent systems, policies and procedures are strictly maintained,
• Manage technical standards and best practices for Infrastructure development and support.
• Lead in collaboration with engineering staff, the design and development of IT infrastructure that is reliable, scalable, flexible and high performance.
• Responsible for design and implementation of network and Servers infrastructure for the compagny.
• Research and recommend emerging technologies and provide detailed project plans with costs of implementation.
• Manage the IT Disaster Recovery Plan, ensure DR readiness at the country level and conduct rehearsals. Update DR plan.
• Ensure efficient and effective infrastructure engineering and operations using industry best practices including ITIL and agile project management.
• Organize and staff the team to increase agility and flexibility in responding to changing business needs.
• Supervise the subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance and review results.
• Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism.
• Mentor, train and manage team members for success.
Support, and maintain the IT infrastructure of the Compagny: Install and support all LAN’s, WAN’s,
network segments, internet and intranet systems.(cisco, juniper, ….)
Configure, install, and provision of the network infrastructure components (cisco routers 2911,
switches, access points).
Strive to maintain 100% availability of all IT system, and take ownership of problems to find resolution internally or with third party partners.
Develop and implement process improvements in how to build, secure, manage, and maintain the
Network.
Work in a fast‐paced environment while ensuring the uptime and availability of all the Critical IT
Services internal services.
• Work closely with various IT Teams : IT Security, Development and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot OS and application issues in Windows and understanding of Windows security including host level firewalls.
• Document all configuration changes and provide status reports as to performance and capacity.
• Work closely with individual users (both internal and external “customers”) to identify, resolve and support user requirements
• Evaluate and prioritize service requests via email, phone and IT Service Management system.
• Develops procedures, programs and documentation for the Core Network Equipment’s, backup and
Restoration of host operating systems and business critical applications.
• Drive projects interacting with multiple business units, IT Teams and IT Vendors.
•Microsoft Solutions Design, Deployment and Support in an Operational environment.
•Integration, Administration, Proactive, & Corrective Maintenance, Health Check & Support of Microsoft Applications, platforms & Services: ERP System, Lync server 2010, SCCM 2007 SCOM 2007, SCOM 2012,
•Administration and Support of OSS Applications & Tools :
Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center : SS7 and Core Network Monitoring.
HP BTO Software suite (HP SM, HP Site Scope, HP OM, HP NNMi)
Microsoft Tools ( System Center 2007, System Center 2012, Lync Server 2010)
