• Lead and supervise Manage Accountants & Assistant Accountants involved in providing necessary information for the preparation of Fixed Asset Register.
• Prepare Fixed Asset Register for Joint Ventures and ADNOC SOLE RISK guidelines and passes.
• Review projects closure and insure transfer to the operation.
• Collect and extract necessary information and data from available sources and participate in the preparation of necessary notes and reports.
• Run and monitor Depreciation programs and reports including Preparation of consolidated Fixed Assets for new and existing projects and depreciation schedules.
• Co-ordinate with Finance Away Teams i.e. Financial Controllers and Accountants to manage day to day financial activities such as write-offs, transfers, etc.
• Perform other related duties such as carry out adhoc exercises on miss-allocation of funds, assisting internal/External Auditors, answering queries on various Management Accounts, provide training to graduates.
• Independently prepared and managed Budgets, Actuals, and Fixed Asset Data on monthly, quarterly and Year End basis.
• Co-ordinate and supervise Physical verification of Assets on Yearly basis.
• Prepare consolidated Fixed Assets for new and existing projects and depreciation schedules.
• Lead and supervise Accountants involved in providing necessary information for the preparation of budgets.
• Prepare budget for Joint and Associated Ventures using Budget guidelines provided by Senior Management.
• Review and endorse Budget Requests (BRs) and Authorization for Expenditure (AFEs) Forms.
• Coordinate Budget Challenging Sessions with Senior Management.
• Collect and extract necessary information and data from available sources and participate in the preparation of necessary notes and variance analysis report for budget presentation meetings and budget book issues.
• Provide necessary support and participate in the preparation of notes and presentations for Technical Committee Meeting (TCM), Finance Committee Meeting (FINCO) and Board Meetings.
• Co-operate with Away Team Financial Controllers and Accountants to manage day to day financial activities such as provisions, variances analysis, etc.
• Perform other related duties such as carrying out adhoc exercises on miss-allocation of funds, assisting internal/External Auditors by providing required information, answering queries on various budget matters.
• Team Member of Support Cost, Budget Team and Cost Optimization exercises.
• Participate in the Annual Budget preparation using Oracle Financials Budgeting Module.
• Prepare Statistical Data for Reallocation of Support Cost to Joint Venture and associated ventures on quarterly basis.
• Prepare Billing Statement for Joint Venture and Other Associated Ventures.
• Participate in the implementation of service agreements with System & Procedure Team to Oracle ERP Suite Reallocation Module.
• Create new supplier with the co-ordination of commercial Division in Oracle AP Module.
• Check Invoices are correctly registered and all relevant supporting documents are attached.
• Participate in the Cash Call process to make sure Funds availability for Payments.
• Approve Invoice for Payments in AP Module.
• Prepare AP Reconciliations.
• Process payments as per payment terms
• Verify GL Accounts related to the Project & percentage of share accounts.
• Process of advances realizes & bank letter.
• Clear of advances to suppliers
• Provide accruals for Operating & Capitals Projects. (monthly, quarterly and yearly).
• Reconciliation of all Advances & Provision Accounts.
Prepare Manpower Capitalization JV on Quarterly basis on Projects.
• Reconcile & update FIS entries on a timely manner.
• Monitor & control GSM Roaming Invoices received from GSM Operators. Maintain updated record of Updating GSM Roaming Invoices & Timely follow-up with GSM Operators settlements.
• Process Thuraya’s GSM Employee Bills & Follow-up with concerned department for timely certification.
• Separate each GSM Number to related Service Provider (SP).
• Prepare Fraud Report with 24 hrs & send it to responsible Service Provider (SP).
• Reply to GSM for any inquiries.
• Monitoring & Reconcile GSM tap files which are prepared by GSM Operators regularly to minimize and eliminate errors.
• Settle all GSM dues on due date.
• Billing process Account activations for new SIM & refill scratch cards.
