As the Facilities Manager for HSBC account in Egypt, I was the single point of contact responsible for facilities management reporting to the Country Lead and the Corporate Real Estate team and managing the delivery of integrated facility management services. IFM scope includes O&M, HSE, energy and sustainability, minor renovation projects, moves and space management, and soft services including housekeeping, landscaping and catering. Major achievements in this role were:
• Designed, planned and led major activities like utilities shutdown activity in the head office including five major critical tasks. The shutdown period was 24 hours where all activities were coordinated successfully with efficient reporting of updates and results before, during and after the event.
• Organized tasks and responsibilities among team members and contributing in conducting a training sessions for them, which yielded in several improvements like being the first country to achieve the annual energy target globally, KPI improvement, better management of the critical environment and more.
• Enhanced the performance of vendors with support from the Country Lead and Regional Director which contributed to improved service delivery.
• Major contribution in the decision-making process with the Country Lead.
• Properly managed a case of severe stakeholder dissatisfaction regarding the service delivery. This was achieved by building a good relationship and effective communication with the client and service providers, close follow-up on progress of works in the office, and creating initiatives that properly addressed the client needs and significantly improved their satisfaction level.
Senior Electrical Engineer for providing on-Site technical support. Start-up, identifies, analysis &
repair failures & order replacements parts as required for CAT Power Generators including its
panels (Control, ATS, Synchronizing, ... ) & Construction machines.
As a facilities project manager at Egypro FME ( Wadi Degla Subsidiary ) my responsibilities are to:
• Lead the maintenance team (Consisting of 9 Engineers, 40 Technician) to execute all maintenance activities related to HVAC, Fire Fighting, Power & Electrical Systems, Plumbing, Drainage & Civil works at Vodafone`s buildings (Alex) & standalone MTX`s
• Monitoring project budget for Capex/Opex and committing to the budget throughout the year.
• Manage generating and closing all work order and clients requests through CMMS system
• Present Egypro FME in all management meetings with clients concerning any technical or managerial aspects
• Prepare & supervise the execution of (annually, monthly & weekly) preventive maintenance plan for electromechanical devices
• Commitment to ensure timely completion of any tasks within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety
• Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ
• Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authorities regulations
• Prepare a walk thru & action plans
• Observe warehouse stocks of items and order all needed equipment
• Produce periodic reports on status of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair works
• coordinate with other departments as needed to facilitate problems assess and determine solutions
• Supervise the procurement processes and B2B contracts management
•Design low voltage Panels (ATS, MCC, PLC, DP, HVAC Panels, … ) including the control circuits to comply the appropriate processes,
•Preparing the workshop drawings,
•Interact with the technicians to comply the customers & consultants requirements,
•Supervise the implement, installation, commissioning, start-up, maintenance & troubleshooting operations at the workshop & Sites.
•Design low voltage Panels (ATS, MCC, PLC, DP, HVAC Panels, … ) including the control circuits to comply the appropriate processes,
•Preparing the workshop drawings,
