Supervising and facilitating the daily operations of curriculum delivery and assessment as per the vision and mission of the Institute, establishing and implementing academic goals, developing workshops to train teachers with up-to date best practices in pedagogy and related technology, liaising with stake holder to participate in school improvement plan and accreditation
Develop chemistry curriculum documents for grades 7-12 based on college Board, NGSS, Massachusetts, and California standards. Develop summative assessment tools aligned with the LO's assigned. Developing training for teachers in the following areas; differentiation, assessment for learning, project-based learning, and STEAM projects. Interviewing local and overseas teachers. Revamping science curricula for Ministry of Education and Abu Dhabi Education Council
Managing high school daily academic issues to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in accordance with the mission and vision of the school
Coordinating the MYP stage and register teacher to attend international IB-MYP workshops, and certified IB-DP chemistry teacher.
Lead all science faculty including chemistry, physics, biology, and geology staff. Follow-up weekly lesson plans, observe classes, ensure exams are aligned with LO's delivered.
Working with seismic lines to determine the highly potential gas/oil sub-surface reservoirs
