• Project Management: Assisting the Project Manager towards facilitating safe and successful execution of a variety of assigned projects. Managing risks, reporting requirements, contracts, procurement and legal and environmental regulations while ensuring successful execution of project components within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality. Leading the project team.
• Project Planning: Taking care of critical aspects include (financial aspects, overseeing accounting, costing & billing, recruiting specialists and subcontracting, logistics, ensure quality standers are met, Developing project management plan and risk analysis plan. Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables.
• Techno-commercial Management: Developing the conceptual design of new products entailing drawings & specification study, quotation enquiry study & finalization, vendor selection & finalization, schedule for development, first sample approval, tool modification and final part approval.
• Progress and Technical Contribution: Facilitating in establishing project review, monitoring and status reporting procedures to accurately report progress of the project to the stakeholders and end user clients. Supporting to Proposal Team with guidance on technical clarification & system design while ensuring compliance with the project specifications and international standards.
• Customer Advocacy: Adept in managing end to end project coordination and customer communication during project lifecycle; amicably resolving issues and queries; providing timely updates on project progress. Assisting customers on technical issues, interfacing with customers, to better understand customer needs followed by recommending appropriate solutions.
• Engineering Management: Responsible for the detailed engineering like system architecture, FDS, design documents for Control system, configuration & testing of the interfaces to various sub-systems, system software configuration and testing of the Application Software (PLC/SCADA/HMI); and generating FAT /SAT documents. Preparing purchase requisitions for Control System Hardware. Coordinating with Production Team for Assembly & Integration of the control system as well as coordinating with Design Department for getting the CAD deliverables & Panel design details. Planning & execution of Pre-FAT, FAT, IFAT with client.
• Processes, Tools and Quality Management: Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Reporting processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
• People Leadership and Development: Directing, leading & motivating multi-skilled workforce (entry level engineers, technicians, and administrative staff) and imparting continuous on-job-training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency. Working on shift management activities, appraising the member’s performance & providing feedback.
