Project Members, Consultants, Contractors with consummate ease.
•Develop and maintain a progress measurement and reporting system for quantifying the progress achieved for in course of project duration. Measured progress is to be reported on a weekly basis together with analysis of reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc.
•Analyze causes of delay and provide Time extension request.
•Development of an integrated project schedule, covering all major activities and Sub-Contractors packages, up to Start-up. This schedule is to be reviewed and formulated based on input received from Engineering Department, Procurement Department, HR Department and Equipment Division
•Verify and report to concern department that the Engineering/Procurement schedule accurately based on planned actual progress
•Provide Planning and scheduling input for cost forecasting, for reporting purposes as well as for periodic presentations to stake holders


Core Competencies

Project Planning & Control
•Overseeing the course of tasks in execution of the Project post planning and finalisation of design.
•Preparing master schedules for all projects including resource schedules, execution methodologies, milestones, Cash Flow projections and budgets.
•Preparing and monitoring resource requirements based on the budgetary parameters, make changes in the same as per revised schedules and budgets
•Tracking and control cost accruals based with respect to budgets.
•Generating progress reports, monitor project status, cost and time reconciliation.
•Managing overall operations for executing construction projects; involved in conducting project feasibility studies, Design Review meetings and participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & removing performance bottlenecks.
•Preparing project schedules and monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs and Quality Compliance to ensure execution of projects within the cost and time norms.
•Formulating operating budgets, construction schedules, design reports, method statements, work specific quality control plans, HSE documents, etc.


Contract Management / Administration
•Completing pre-tender obligations like submitting pre-qualifications, study of contractual conditions, project cost analysis including considering cost impact of techno-commercial conditions.
•Assessing contractual terms for secured projects, cost impact on the project, advise execution and billing team for non-spelled items.
•Managing contractual correspondence, raise and settle contractual claims with respect to cost and time.
•Preparing contract documents for various work items including contractual terms and conditions, technical specifications and commercial terms.
•Verifying Subcontractor claims and preparing payment certificates.
•Evaluating & executing contracting works in co-ordination with consultants, contractors and clients.
•Deployment of suitable manpower and equipments / materials and proper planning to ensure timely execution of the projects.


Site Construction Management
•Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities.
•Ensuring the smooth functioning of the project in terms of quality, time, cost; including quantity surveying and billing of the project.
•Identifying & develop a reliable Vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories, material with timely delivery so as to minimize project cost.
•Handling selection of contractors, forward enquiries, collect and compare quotes, negotiations and award contracts.
•Coordinating among Site, Office and Consultants for smooth execution of the project. Resolve teething problems in site execution such as timely material supply, drawing queries, payments, etc. Organize review meetings, prepare MOM and Action Plan follow up for action taken, etc.
•Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.
•Designing and implementing stringent systems and quality plans / manuals to ensure high quality standards during all the stages of project and construction activities.
•Coordinating with clients, architects, structural & service consultants & external agencies for executing contracts within negotiated & agreed-upon parameters




Resources Management
•Leading, managing and monitoring the performance of work force and conceptualizing need-based training programs for performing Autonomous maintenance operations.
•Developing and implementing key procurement strategies / purchase schedules and ensuring that these strategies / schedules are aligned with organisational objectives.
•Streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring ready availability of just required materials to meet the production targets.

Project Management
•Controlling project activities & handling the complete project management cycle entailing requirement gathering and final execution of the same.
•Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with engineering consultants/ collaborators, external suppliers & clients.
•Maintaining healthy cash flows for all the projects in execution by ensuring timely billing to the client in line with the terms of payment and work carried out at site.

Planning Management
•Preparation of MCP, Micro schedules, Monthly Projections Tracking & Monitoring.
•Preparation of All Resources Planning viz. Material Planning, Labor Histogram, Machineries planning, allocation of labor for daily works and extracting on daily basis.
•Preparation of Zero Cost, Job Cost Report, Reconciliation of Materials & Quantities and COST CONTROL
•Applying & Adopting Contract clauses, Special conditions, FIDIC Documents etc.
•Issuing of LOA, Executing Agreements and Contract Documents for Nominated Sub-Contractors.

Resource Deployment
•Developing vendors for obtaining timely procurement of materials & equipments at cost effective prices to ensure smooth execution of projects.
•Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower & timely availability of manpower and equipments / materials to ensure timely execution of the projects.
•Preparing technical & commercial bid, discussing & negotiating the contractual issues with the client until the award of contract.


Quantity Surveying / billing
•Preparation of. Quantities for entire project
•Preparation of RA Bills and getting certifications from Client/Consultants
•Preparation of Rate Analysis


ERP
•Budgeting, Cost bookings & Planning in ERP
•Entering Client Billing in ERP and preparation of Sub-Contractors Billing
•Reconciliation in ERP
