executive leader & accredited Certified Consultant by the Saudi Council of Engineers Since 2018. M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering in 2002. Over 22 years' experience in leading Construction/Operation/Maintenance of diverse Mega Projects including Power generation & Petrochemicals Projects.
My leadership experience covers but not limited to leading Engineering Tech support teams, leading Mega Projects for executing Power & Petrochemical Plants. Leading teams for developing International companies' procedures, Organizations & Quality manuals. Also Leading teams for developing and implementing training & improvement processes / procedures, leading EHSSQ & RC Audit Teams.
It was a honor that I Participated in leading strategic MEGA projects in my country KSA.
2002 - 2006
I led the Project execution of Shoaiba Steam Power Plant Project (5000 MW Output Power) for all project activities related to Turbine & Thermal Cycle construction / erections / commissioning / successful operation & smooth handing over Saudi Elect. Co. Further, I led / manage all QMS Project related activities. I was also assigned as Deputy Manager for Shoaiba Steam Power Plant Project.
2006 - 2007
led Maintenance Team for National Co. for Titanium Dioxide (Cristal), as a Maintenance Manager, supporting also the strategic expansion project of the running plant & led the Project Tie-ins safe timely completion activities. I led as well Cristal Project for Re-organizing the maintenance Team & Business.
2007 - 2013
I participated in leading & Operation of SABIC Project in Yanbu for establishing & running a new SABIC Petrochemical complex / Co. called YANSAB. As a Central Maintenance manager, I led establishing the business of the whole Central Maintenance & Maintenance Services including execution of thorough design / construction / Machine tools purchasing / Installation / Commissioning and successful operation of Central shops & satellite shops. Further, I led establishing all maintenance services / manpower / Purchasing contracts. Furthermore, I led developing Maintenance functions job descriptions / R&R, main Maint. Procedures & Maintenance Quality Manual. I also led the recruiting of Maintenance team leaders / supervisors / expertise / expatriates & led developing / execution of Maintenance Team OJT training & certification programs.
2013 - 2018
I participated in leading YANSAB project for Developing EHSS (Environment, Health, Safety & Security) System in full Compliance with SABIC EHSS Standards (73 EHSS Standards, similar to ARAMCO EHSS Lost Prevention Standards). And was certified as EHSSQ Consultant & Audit Team Leader by YANSAB / SABIC.

EHSS Consultant (2014 ~ 2018):
General duties:
Develop plans & strategies to fulfill business requirements of EHSS / SHEM (Safety, Security, Health & Environment Management Systems) & RC (Responsible Care).
Participate in preparing & finalizing company long-term & short-term objectives. Provide guidance & expertise for continuous improvement of diversified business sectors.
Responsibilities:
• Lead EHSS / SHEM Standards review, optimization & implementation compliance as well as continuous improvement toward excellence.
• Participate in preparing & finalizing of company Annual Objectives.
• Guide EHSS campaigns & main activities and support/improve EHSS functions/systems.
• Lead Internal Audits for QMS, EHSS & RC as well as combined Audits.
• Guide Plant EHSS Leaders / Focal points in identifying, analyzing & bridging EHSS gaps plantwide.

2009~2012:
Led the Central Maintenance Services & Shops support to whole Plant functions.

Section Head, Steam Turbines & QMS (Shoaiba Project).
Deputy Manager (Shoaiba Project).
General duties:
Control, manage & approve execution of project activities for Shoaiba Power Plant including design review/modifications, construction, erection, installation activities as well as commissioning, start-up & Performance testing till successful operation / stabilization and handover to Operations for project clos-out.
- Shoaiba I Project - Steam Power Plant (5 X 440 MW) commenced on 2001.
- Shoaiba II Project - Steam Power Plant (6 X 440 MW) commenced on 2004.
Both plants units are crude and heavy fuel oil fired boilers - Auxiliary equipment includes desalination plant, H2 generation plant for cooling system, Hypo-chlorite generation plant, Emergency diesel generators, Fuel forwarding system & metering station, Instrument & service air systems etc.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in Engineering & Design Review process / activities.
• Participate in Contracts Administration, review and updates.
• Prequalification / Approval of contractors / sub-contractors for diversified project activities and functions.
• Review / Approval of equipment/systems testing procedures in accordance with contractual requirements and related International Standards.
• Review / Approval of site erection procedures, method statements and modification procedures.
• Witness factory inspections for testing / approval of equipment outside & inside KSA.
• Witness and control project activities (construction, erection, modifications, testing, inspection, commissioning, start-up, then monitor successful operation & stabilization.
• Monitor / approve performance testing then handover to Plant Operation Dept. for project close-out in compliance with approved and updated execution schedules.
• Lead inspections of mechanical erection works, equipment & systems installation.
• Review, evaluate and comment jointly with consultant on failures/damages/ discrepancies investigation reports submitted by the Contractors & Vendors.
• Review / approval jointly with consultant of Field Design Changes (FDC) that proposed by the Contractor for improvements or eliminating design/operation problems.
• Review / approval of Site QA/QC procedures such as Non-conformance Reporting (NCR) Procedure, Material Receiving & Inspection (MRI) Procedure, Notification for Inspection (RFI) procedure, critical lifting Method statement etc.
• Lead and control major Equipment Guarantee Inspection (Inspection of Plant Major Equipment before end of Warranty period for final acceptance).
• Review / Approval of the scope of work, inspection procedures, schedules, witness the inspections & evaluate equipment condition / performance for final acceptance.
• Witness & evaluate Plant Systems Testing (Test on completion, Performance Tests, Reliability Tests etc.)
• Control & monitor Project progress in accordance with Project execution plans and approved Time Schedules.
• Control and approve alternative plans to expedite completion of project long outstanding issues / actions.
• Lead and control Progress meetings with Contractors, Sub-contractors and Consultants.
in 1996, I Joined a multinational team of experts, mainly American & European experts at the “ Base of Maintenance & Technical Support of RSADS” to establish and build-up my engineering & technical experience as a fresh graduated engineer.
General Duties:
To provide engineering and technical support toward reliable operation and effective maintenance of Saudi Air Defense Systems mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze & investigate technical problems to identify the root causes and accordingly the required technical solutions / repairs.
• Led the implementation of technical solutions and the required design modifications / improvements to eliminate recurrence of technical problems.
• Evaluate, finalize design modification proposals & control implemention of these design modifications / improvements.
• Apply Reverse Engineering Technique to re-design / modify / manufacture mechanical spares & assemblies. This includes development of engineering drawings in 2D & 3D using professional CAD software (Solid Edge) used specially in mechanical parts/assemblies design works.
• A member of Systems Configuration Review Board (A board to control and document the modifications implementation).
• Modify / update Technical manuals / drawings / documentations subsequently, whenever a modification of parts / spares / assemblies is required.
• Disposition of Equipment Repairs (locally or to be evacuated to the manufacturer).
• Disposition of scrap Equipment / Materials to decide on cannibalizing/refurbishment etc.
• Analyze the failures history of equipment / systems as a basis of the technical studies, also to evaluate the feasibility of any design modification / development.
