• Principal Duties:-

1. Collation of required Quality Documents as described in the Customer Contract.
2. Review of Quality Documents to ensure they are in accordance with Customer requirements.
3. Coordination of Quality Document updates with sources based in Customer feedback.
4. Creation of high Quality ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) per Industry standards and Customer requirements.
5. Coordination with Customer Quality Team for timely approval and implementation of the ITPs.
6. Continuous improvement of ITPs to incorporate Customer feedback and lessons learned.
7. Working with Suppliers and OEMs to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with Contract requirements.
8. Coordination of Customer at 3rd Party Inspections at vendors and OEM sites.
9. Planning of FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) of products to ensure timely approvals to
ship.
10. Collation of Quality Data books for products to present to Customer and get approval.
11. Supporting inspections and teardowns and ensuring customer witness and check points adhered to.
12. Inspection of Materials on receipt at site to ensure they are free from defects and supported with the correct material certifications.
13. Inspection and Verification of all materials received to the field to ensure they meet Quality Standards before installation.
14. Definition of Product Acceptance Criteria per applicable industry standards.
15. Facilitation of Pre-Inspection meeting with Customer to ensure a smooth process and issue resolution.
16. Documentation of Non-Conformances to the Quality Plan and coordination with Customer to get required dispositions and approvals.
17. Investigation and follow up on documented non-conformances and ensuring suitable CAPA plans in place.
18. Hosting of Customer audits at Company and Vendor sites.
19. Submission of written proposals for Contract deviations and timely approvals from Customer.
20. Coordination of Supplier Audits in conjunction with the GE Supplier Quality Team.
21. Management of contract Quality KPIs and regular updates to Customer and GE Leadership.
22. Planning and execution of Internal GE Audits to identify non-conformances and areas for improvement.

o Project: Riyadh Combined Cycle Power Plant #12, KSA.


• Principal Duties:-

1. Responsible to manage, supervise, planning and implement the QA/QC plan of PP-12 project.
2. To develop implement and maintain the PP-12 quality assurance program for the project based on ISO 9001-2000.
3. As QA Manager for PP-12 prepare and participate for regular “Project Review Meetings” and interact with ISO & ASME Consultant and Audit (as needed).
4. To prepare quality assurance internal and external audit agenda and participate in audits.
5. To take charge of quality control and be responsible for all quality control activities.
6. To assure timely and effective implementation of a project quality control program.
7. To recommend actions to project managers to correct observed quality deficiencies.
8. To interact with and defend JV interest at all levels with the consultants and subcontractors.
9. To ensure subcontractors are suitable for the work.
10. To ensure materials of the project are submitted by JV and approved by consultant and /or client.
11. To ensure method statements are submitted by JV and approved by consultant and/or client.
12. To carry out any task that is required by Project Manager.
13. To review critical to quality shop drawings and submittals for client’s approvals.
14. To review, evaluate and audit the effectiveness of the quality system and to verify compliance of work output with, or identify area of non-conformance to specifications, standards and conditions specified in contracts.
15. To control, determine and supervise the quality of work of the project.

• Principal Duties:-
1. Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site subcontractors.
2. Coordinate with the customer's representative on all quality matters.
3. Coordinate all receipt inspections.
4. Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to ABB site subcontractors.
5. Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
6. Ensure all quality control documentation is complied and completed for as-built hand over.
7. Control all non conformance reports and undertake remedial action.
8. Coordinate with the site manager on all quality issues, coordinate and share the QA/QC site weekly meetings.
9. Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, installation completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and areas are prepared and collated in accordance with the project requirements.
10. Coordinate with the time schedule to ensure milestone dates.
11. Coordinate with the commissioning engineers to define the scope of work.
12. Monitor and control the status of punch list.

• Principal Duties:-

1. Officially responsible for supervision of Mechanical works for a number of varied sections on the power islands.
2. Provide assistance to the Project Engineer/SEC.H. Engineer
3. Supervising, directing and coordinating the project team
4. Clearly audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.
5. Performs complex technical work in support of project team work.
6. Recommends appropriate actions to ensure compliance with all local regulations & QCP.
7. Conduct, or coordinate detailed inspection phases of the mechanical work
8. as a quality control reviewer for all aspects of mechanical works on Power islands
9. supervise assigned Mechanical Department staff for sub contractor and monitor their individual technical performance, providing guidance and direction, as needed
10. Initiate and complete the correction of any adverse conditions to ensure that assigned projects proceed on right procedure & quality
11. Assist in the development and improvement of processes, tools, and resources utilized by the Mechanical Department

I'm reported directly to the Managing Director (MD). I have the responsibility to ensure that all the departments within workshop and field site at all time comply with the requirements of the applicable ASME Code, National Board Inspection Code, and Quality Control Manual.
In addition, it is my responsibility to review the applicable Code Edition / Addenda after issue for change required by such and to arrange for any necessary revisions to quality control system.
My further duties include but not limited to the following…
1. Revision, approval and implementation of Quality Control Manual.
2. Verifies through monitoring or auditing the implementation of the projects quality plan and quality related procedures.
3. Defines and measures the overall effectiveness of the project quality plan.
4. Safe custody of Code symbol stamps and controlled use of the same in shop and in site through the Site QCH.
5. Control and issue of National Board serial numbers for shop and site.
6. Control the purchasing requisitions prepared by the Technical office in relations to the job's specifics.
7. Control the production process and make sure that the standards are met.
8. Preparation of revisions to Quality Control procedures and submission of the same to the AI for his acceptance prior to inclusion or implementation.
9. Review and certification of Manufacturer's Data Reports for Code Items.
10. Maintaining contact with AI, AIA and ISO Auditors.
11. Resolution of Nonconformities.
12. Initiates, recommends or provides solutions to quality problems and issues.
13. Verifies implementation or solutions to quality problems or issues.
14. Managing all the quality department control Procedures.
15. Dealing with different departments for the final quality documents to satisfy the client requirements.
16. Dealing and coordinating with different departments to apply the testing schedule.

Monitoring the welding procedure in use and the welding sequence and monitor performance of the welders. Ensure that discipline work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.Carry out inspections, make reports to the Construction Manager; recommend corrective actions and ensure these are carried out. Directs and supervises project engineers in the performance of all aspects of their work. Exercises strict control over costs of construction particularly the use of labor, materials and equipment. This includes reviewing variances from budgeted expenditure and recommends/initiates action to bring them under control. Discusses and resolves daily site problems with site supervisors. Monitors construction progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and provides input to the regular reports of the Project Manager.
