After the Royal Decree of not renewing the contracts for the foreign experts due to the pandemic situation and its effect on the economy - hence not renewing my contract with Al Raffd Fund; I started helping entrepreneurs to start up or develop their businesses, setting their sales & marketing plans, doing feasibility studies, and giving training with cooperation of several academies within Oman. Started with guidance in establishing Abraj Alkhlyj Alraydt company and other companies thereafter.

With the blessing of a Royal Decree from the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bis Said, Al Raffd Fund started its operations in January 2014 as the governmental financial organization aimed to support, encourage, and promote entrepreneurial growth and advancement among the citizens of the Sultanate of Oman. Moreover, focusing on financing and developing the main contributors to the GDP: Micro-enterprises and SMEs. Through contracting with AL NAWA MANAGEMENT & HRD CONSULTANTS in Muscat, I was allocated as the Expert for the whole of Al Sharqiyah Region with its two main governorates - Northern Sharqiyah and the Southern Sharqiyah and being responsible for advising and supporting the operation in the two branches of Sur City and Ibra City.
ACHEIVEMENTS:
• Developed the business of several stumbling clients and directed their operations to increase their profit.
• Reopened several businesses - which were closed due to their loss - after initiating a business development plan to continue their operations and to be able to pay back their loan.
• Developed a plan to enhance or create a Profile for the SMEs and enhance their marketing abilities and their online existence to be able to cope with the market - especially after the global pandemic.
• Advised, directed then supervised the amendment of some of the Business procedures in the allocated branches - and hence the organization - to achieve better results.
• Delivered numerous workshops, lectures, and classes on Entrepreneurship, Feasibility Study, Business Fundamentals and Business Accounting all over the two Governorates of Al Sharqiah; for entrepreneurs and employees.
• Role involved visiting all financed projects to fully analyze their business and provide them with consultations to develop their businesses and submit my recommendations accordingly. Analyzing the Feasibility Study of each applicant and discussing it with them to submit my recommendations on the proposed business and on the risks of financing the project if any. Training the employees on how to conduct visits to the projects and prepare, analyze, and evaluate the feasibility studies of those existing projects to develop their businesses. Visiting proposed locations of new applicants projects to analyze and check if the location is suitable for each project. Follow up with the Business Development and the collection teams on the financed projects repayments.
The UNRWA microfinance department provides sustainable income-generation opportunities for Palestine refugees, as well as other poor or marginalized groups who live and work near them. It extends credit and complementary financial services to households, entrepreneurs, and small-business owners. These investments create and sustain jobs, reduce poverty, and empower our clients, particularly women.
I was the Supervisor for the Western and Central Amman Governorate area, and then I was the supervisor for Madaba Governorate.
ACHEIVEMENTS:
- I raised the Western Amman branch rank to be the third among nine branches rather than the seventh when I started my duties as an Acting Area Loan Supervisor with my team and the Branch Manager.
- I decreased the branch's Portfolio-at-Risk rate (PAR) from 19% to 7%.
- After officially getting the letter granting the ALS title from the UNRWA, I was nominated to fill the position of ALS for the governorate of Madaba for one month - which lasted for four months till my resignation to move to the Sultanate of Oman.
- And while I was a Loan Officer; I was the undisputed top achiever in the branch, and I was able to control and reduce the Portfolio-at-Risk rate (PAR) for the portfolio which I was assigned from 28% to 7%.
- Role involved supervising and monitoring the activities of the Loan Officers and ensuring that they meet their work schedules, properly monitor their clients and meet an acceptable standard of productivity and repayment rate. Training Loan Officers and providing technical advice and guidance through regular meetings and revision of their activities. Promoting the programs in designated regions of responsibility and finding new market opportunities for additional outreach. Ensure that approved borrowers comply with all the necessary legal procedures and complete their obligations and check the credit and risk analysis for all the submitted applications and financing requests and evaluate the potential risk. Visiting the business of the applicants to evaluate their assets, working capital requirements, reputation, and reliability, making a recommendation as appropriate, following up on due and late repayments with Loan Officers to solve credit and performance problems in the field, and preparing monthly progress and performance reports.
ACHEIVEMENTS:

Sales and Marketing & Client Management
• I developed the Sales and marketing strategy for the company and implemented a new logistic control system.
• I Initiated detailed proposals for four new conferences: mostly scientific and one about the Airports Economy.

ACHEIVEMENTS:
I was originally recruited to manage the company’s events in KSA in a project with the Public Security Directorate, the National Information Centre, and the Ministry of Interior. Then I went back to Jordan to be the Business Development Manager to generate business for the company and spread their services in the Jordanian Market - until the company was sold to PWC Riyadh.
- I was able to attract corporations and government entities, i.e.: the Jordan River Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism in Jordan, The Traffic Department, and other private corporations.
ACHEIVEMENTS:
Through identifying potential markets and targeted business segmentation, directing the sales team, developing new business opportunities, planning the logistics and coordinating the technical aspects of the proposed event, outsourcing project execution, and studying the intricacies of the brand to devise the event concept.

Managing the sales of the international award-winning trade exhibition - World Future Energy Summit. WFES was purchased by Reed Exhibitions, and I was the only member of this event headhunted by Reed.
ACHEIVEMENTS:
- I achieved $ 8 million in exhibition/sponsorship sales.
- Role involved providing sales/budget forecasts to the Chairman, developing new business, and managing existing relationships.

TURRET MIDDLE EAST (one of the founding partners of ADNEC) -
Sales Manager
I was recruited initially to develop the outdoor media opportunities at the brand-new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), which Turret won the management contract to run. After successfully securing $1m of new business in my first 6 months, I was selected to work on the World Future Energy Summit.
ACHEIVEMENTS:
- I delivered more than $4m of personal exhibition sales for the 2009 event.
- 75% of my sales were new business wins.
- I carried out the Sales for $2m worth of Media in ADNEC House.
- I carried out the Sales of ADIHEX07 (Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition 2007).
- I delivered 45% of personal sales out of the 75% rebooking for ADIHEX09.
- I was awarded salesman of the year in my first year.
- Role involved numerous client visits, cold calling, negotiations, and strategically seeking opportunities and 'ideal clients'. Market research and analysis to promote future growth of the business and maintain good relations with customers. Started my journey in the business field by joining McDonalds Family while I was studying in college. I was a member of the Core Crew; we traveled to be trained and well-prepared for starting McDonalds Jordan.
