• Conduct studies to determine size and scope of construction projects.
• Assess the value of the labor (Norms) associated with the tasks/activities for whole scope .
• Develop Project timelines and budgets.
• Document daily man power and/or Man-hours for productivity, cost/payroll, and control purposes.
• Set-up/Develop an earned value management system (EVMS) for CCPP SoW called COBRA light to monitor and track the construction progress by using Microsoft office.
• Update EVMS “COBRA light” with whole information required to activate the interface between it and any other construction/commissioning related systems such as (P6 “planning”, TOSTR “Commissioning”, CSIM “Last planner”, PCMS “Cost”, Navisworks “3D Model” & IPMS “Material”)
• Assessing of contractor’s progress claims & reviewing/evaluating their application of payments accordingly.
• Handle and process all the Budgets, Variances, performance, take-offs and progress via “COBRA light”.
• Monitor takeoffs status and update/modify any item as required via Earned value Management System “COBRA”, as well as track & update the progress into the system then generate construction reports accordingly in a weekly basis.
• Update the quantity tracking management system “COBRA” with whole information required to activate the interface between it and any other construction/commissioning related systems such as (P6 “planning”, TOSTR “Commissioning”, CSIM “Last planner”, PCMS “Cost”, Navisworks “3D Model” & IPMS “Material”)
• Assessing of contractor’s progress claims & reviewing/evaluating their application of payments accordingly.

• Ability to generate special reports as per ACM enquiry directly from COBRA using SQL utility.

Key Responsibilities:
•Handling all the set-up project, budgets, variances, takeoffs and progress batches via company’s system “QTRAX”.
•Pre-measure allocated trades and sections at contract start up.
•Work with Subcontracts/Admin Dept, P.QS and team liaison to agree monthly measures, final measures and variation costing.
•Complete site inspections on a regular basis, reviewing progress and possible variations.
•Communicate with the Construction Teams on site on a daily basis.
•Re-measure all project change works (Sis, CWPs, TBs...Etc) as required and adjust the project’s budget accordingly.
•Measure and value new rates and variations.
•Prepare and publish the project weekly report which reflects a full picture of all progress works in the field.
•Generate Sub-Contractor documentation for payments, contra charges and final accounts.
•Monitor and report Quantities, costs and Man-hours from allowances and budgets as required.
•Keep tracking on labour, materials plant and updated BOQ to ensuring the costs are within the allowable zone and reporting any anomalies.
•Liaise closely with Commercial/Business Development Team and maintain a clear view of the Company's business development objectives
•Report costs on a monthly basis with detailed cost reconciliations as required.
•Review payment certificate (Progress Claim) submitted by subcontractor on monthly basis and compare it against
•Mentor and motivate others within the team.
•Tracking the actual direct and indirect hours for safety reason (Magnitude hours without LTI) and to measure the actual project productivity factor
Takeoff all kinds of civil drawings (Civil, Structural Steel, Site Preparation and improvement) in compliance with contract method of measurement in order to measure quantities required for project completion.
Making weekly and monthly reports with S-curve and bar charts for all civil progress we have in the field and compare.
•Preparing and submitting change orders as per employer request or items found in the contract drawing and missing in the BOQ
•Validate and finalize the subcontract claims.
•Review and formalize the final BOQ required for project completion
