Began as a Roustabout, performing various jobs as a team member and duties in different aspects such as;
Rig Operations;
1. Adequate level of knowledge in overall drilling operations and to assist in the assembly and disassembly of all interrelated
equipment involved in operations.
2. Interface with all key Rig Personnel during drilling operations to support operations involving equipment.
3. Assist in installation of equipment in a time efficient manner during drilling operations.
4. Work in cooperation with the Materials Coordinator maintaining adequate levels and records of spare parts under specific
control.
5. Perform other functions as requested by management.
Maintenance and Repair;
1. Assist in the installation and maintenance of all components and parts of the subsea BOP stack and lower marine riser
package, riser joints, telescopic joint, diverter, tensioners, and other associated equipment.
2. Assist drill crews in maintaining drill floor, shale shakers and pump room.
3. Assist Electrician and Mechanic with repair and maintenance.
4. Provide reports concerning equipment and systems operation and maintenance to division management as required by
policy and procedure and emergent events.
• Organizing and delivering classroom lectures to students.
• Advising students on social issues.
• Preparing classroom coursework material, and assignments.
• Correcting verbal grammar in oral English.
• Maintaining discipline in the classroom.
• Study of designing, seismic and selecting wellhead equipment’s
• Study drilling process from hammering the conductor to completion.
• Study drilling casing stages.
• Study of BOP, types, functions, manufacturing etc.…
• Study monitoring safety and ensuring the good maintenance of the well.
• Taking samples for reservoir studies, in order to assess the amount and quality of oil, the depth at which recourses lie and the equipment needed to properly extract them.
• Study production rates, flow rate and plan rework process in order to improve production.
• Principles of directional drilling.
• Solid knowledge of completion and evolution of wells, well testing and well survey.
1. Identifying rocks and properties.
2. Measuring depth of rocks.
3. Using compass as guidance in mountains.
4. General knowledge of GIS and other mapping techniques.
5. Measuring strike by using Brunton compass.
1. Using Siebel for operations.
2. Complete call log and daily reports
3. Identify, resolve and research customer’s issue.
4. Replacing SIM cards.
5. Swiping bundles/baring numbers.
6. Creating new pre paid and post paid accounts through Siebel.
7. Guiding customers through the phone in online purchasing.
8. Preparing trouble tickets TT.
1. Using Cargo Soft reporting all operations and follow-up.
2. Import & Export custom clearance and transportation. Air, sea and road.
3. Contract shipments of Deugro and general clients.
4. JGC - Dolphin Energy project 2008 shipments.
5. Bill of lading exchange.
6. Good knowledge with the Qatar law custom clearance.
