Networking
• A Responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing communication networks within an organization.
• Design, setup and configure LANs, WANs, and wireless network including Router and switches.
• Installation and configuration 4500. 3850, 3750, 3560 switches.
• Monitor Performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issue.
• Experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management best practices
Security
• Install, configure, monitoring, and troubleshoot network security solutions and related monitoring tools including L2/L3 network security devices.
• Responsible for supporting LAN/WAN security solutions including creating and maintaining LAN/WAN security standards and design documentation.
• Supports sales personnel by developing technical strategies to deliver RSA solutions that support business objectives of customers.
Servers & VMware
• Support, maintain and upgrade critical Newsroom production systems.
• Administer servers, storage, networking, mobile devices, desktops and laptops
• Administration of Active Directory Users & Groups, Servers.
• Plan, design, implement projects as assigned
• Provide technical support to VMware customers to resolve issues relating to
system operations, faults and storage.
• Provide support for products in the VMware vSphere suite. Specialize in VMware Virtual Center, ESXi and Vconverter,
• Experience in a technical support position in a multinational organization.
• Trouble shooting and resolving problems directly or working with engineering and production to resolve hardware problems.
