• Manage the correct and efficient production of syrup and treated water.
• Ensure that the laboratory is adequately equipped to perform the required tests at the appropriate degree of accuracy and frequency.
• Assure the Quality department staffs conducting quality tests are competent and proficient at performing their tasks including line visual inspectors.
• Manage the execution and documentation of proper and timely calibration routines for all lab equipment, line gauges and other critical measuring equipment.
• Manage the implementation of quality assurance systems and procedures throughout plant operations. This includes the use of control charting and systematic monitoring and documentation of critical point variability.
• Ensure proper handling of consumer / customer complaints by the plant in accordance with company guidelines.
• Implement the standard company procedures for the management of raw materials and product release of the hold.
• Follow - up on the implementation of all corrective action as a result of a GMP, Local or IQA audit, AIB and ISO 22000.
• Ensure safe operating conditions exist throughout and laboratory. Promptly correct unsafe conditions.
• Coaches and provides constant feedback for the development and improved performance of quality personnel.
• Prepare and execute the departmental budget for staffing, consumables, testing equipments, etc.…
• Ensure that the annual performance review conducted with all quality personnel.
• Communicate quality performance and activities regularly to Plant Manager

• In depth knowledge in beverage technology and quality characteristics.
• In depth knowledge in waste and water treatment technology including Reverse Osmosis and Coagulation lime treatment.
• Highly conscious on Cost, labor productivity and quality.
• Hands on experience of Microbiological analysis and corrective action.
• Ability to provide coaching on job to associates on all areas of the bottling industry.
• Ability to provide objective feedback for improvement in performance of the team.
• Ability to develop, document, implement and review the quality management system like ISO 22000 and HACCP and in depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Housekeeping Practices (GHP) and Good laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Ability to identify and training and development needs and facilitate bridging of competency gaps through training.
• Ability to convert the organizational goals into the quality goals and objective of the quality assurance function of the plant.
• Ability to lead team members to understand and follow the continuous improvement concept.
• Ability to built relationships with other departments to achieve overall objectives of the plant.
• Ability to communicate ideas, goals and policies of the company clearly to team members and top management through written and oral communication.

• Ability to identify the root cause of problems based on thorough knowledge of the chemistry of beverage manufacturing.
• The ability to proactively identify areas of improvement and potential problems to ensure prevention of problems.
• Commanding computer knowledge in MS office, Excel, power point.
• Knowledgeable about Oracle program.
• Participated in a yearly Quality Audit assessment conducted by the Pepsi Cola International and AIB.
