Project Description: Part of New Asyut Barrage and Hydropower Plant Project.
This part of project is about the rehabilitation of the head regulator built in 1902 to feed and control the discharge into ibrahimia canal and the project contain the following activities:
• Repair defects appear on Ibrahimai canal Head regulator stone surface inside gates:
• Drilling and grouting within the piers along the upstream and downstream ends. The works also includes Drilling and grouting soil under the foundation raft.
• Construction of control Building (5.40x5.00x3.00 m) and Radio Mast Foundation includes Cable Trench.
• New (D.S) Reinforcement concrete slab 60 cm by:
• Construction New concrete weir and extension of existing side wall concrete.
• Removal concrete beams pedestrian bridge and rehabilitation columns pedestrian bridge with concrete cladding.
• Remove old steel gates and construction new wall slab + bearing block gate drive for new hydraulic steel gates.
Budget: 100 Million L.E
Client: Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation & Ministry of Electricity and Energy.
