•Participate in marketing communication and event planning for new products/services
•Translate the proposed VAS products requirements into high-level design and process documentation and make sure the requirements are translated into technical aspects.
•Ensure successful launch of VAS products and services.
•Share the non-financial KPIs and monthly reports with marketing to track revenue growth/performance usage for VAS products.
•Follow Marketing roadmap and create the RFP’s (Request for Proposal) for the services to be sent to the vendors and participate in the negation of vendor’s selection.
•Work with the vendors to review the FRS (Function Requirement Specification) to make sure all the requirements that mentioned on the RFP’s are covered.
•Capacity Planning for VAS services based on customer growth and business needs (Marketing requirements).
•Monitor & analyze the statistical reports and provide the required plans and solutions for system expansions.
•Provide on time technical support, analyze and problem solving to the technical and non technical departments.
•Implement quality and planning procedures for VAS services.
•Work closely with Core Network and planning to troubleshoot/investigate any problem related to VAS platforms or plan changes and integration with any VAS platform.
•Provide Technical assistance and guidance to the subordinates.
•VAS Product Design, customization, integration, implementation and follow-ups.
•Work with Vendors to solve on escalated problems.
•Monitor and review VAS KPIs and monthly reports.

•Project managing the VAS platforms for newly established South Sudan’s operator (Zain South) - 2011
•Project Managing the Call Completion project (Huawei SMSC, StreamWide MCN, VMS, VSMS and Sicap USSD) -2011
•Project managing the ADC Upgrade project(Ericsson OTA) - 2012
•Project Engineer in the implementation and launch of MSC Blade Cluster (Ericsson) project -2012
•Work and exchange ideas with Marketing (P&S) to create the vision/strategy for VAS and applying them into the systems.
•Follow Marketing (P&S) roadmap and create the RFP’s (Request for Proposal) for the services to be sent to the vendors.
•Create a Vision & Roadmap for the VAS products base on the technical needs and Marketing (P&S) roadmap, Manage product life cycle, follow products /Business development with Marketing to Lunch the new Products.
•Deliver new products/propositions according to the Marketing (P&S) strategy and integrated roadmap
•Work with Marketing (P&S) to Plan the MBB product portfolio by introducing new VAS and contents.
•Working with Marketing (P&S) and internal technical teams to identify and develop growth opportunities for the VAS products.
•Share the non-financial KPIs and monthly reports with the commercial teams to ensure commercial success of the products.
•Work with Interconnect and Carrier Services to establish MMS Interconnection (MM4) with other operators.
•Supervising the growth of the GPRS roaming (configuration and testing) according to the Interconnect and Carrier Services roadmaps and plans
•Work with Vendor to solve on escalated problems
•Development of internal VAS plans, processes, SLA and procedures
•Provide on time technical support, analyze and problem solving to the technical and non technical department
•Timely monitoring and accurate analysis reports for VAS Services
•Recommending enhancements and expansion to the existing VAS platforms
•Providing Technical assistance and guidance to the VAS engineer

• Operation administration and maintenance for VAS Systems (SMS, MMS, WAP GW, PTT, MDSP and SGSN/GGSN, ).
• Perform SS7 (MAP) & IP traces on the VAS Systems (SMSC, SGSN/GGSN and WAP GW).
• GPRS roaming Configuration & IREG testing / IREG - TADIG co-ordination.
• Install and upgrade Oracle software for VAS Section.
• Administrate and design VAS Database.
• Develop shell Scripts for different purposes.
• Provide technical support for customer care.
• Monitor and review VAS KPIs and monthly reports.
• Supervision VAS Systems using Alcatel's OMCCS / COSAQ, Ericsson OSS & other Network Analysis Tools.
• Implement change request/planned work on VAS platforms and integration with other sections such as IN and NSS.
• Perform Core Development & operations tasks related to integration and prepare vision, design, data model and operations document for new integration processes.
• Analyzing fault from any available output such as: NMS, reported customer complaints etc
• Produce trouble ticket to relevant party with detailed description on any identified problem.
• Work with Vendor to solve on escalated problem.
