Handling Accounts Payable for More than 200 Suppliers.

Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and providing other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.

Assembling invoices to be completed for payment

Reviewing invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.

Maintaining copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.

Typing periodic reports and other records such as balance confirmations.

Clarifying any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.

Obtaining proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments.

Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable).

Checking vendor files for any previous payments and assigning voucher numbers.

Preparing vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures.

My Tasks were :

Preparing customer statements, bills and invoices, and reconciling expenses to the general ledger.

Preparing monthly receivable statements and Following-Up Customers thorough monthly collection letters and monthly balance confirmations, Recurring on-site visits to customers in order to handle mutual problems and encouraging them to increase business relations and handling Reconciliations and Settlements.

Making copies of all checks, complete deposit slips and make bank deposits.

Providing backup support to other groups in the accounting department, type periodic reports and perform other general administrative duties.

Calculating and posting receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verifying details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances.

Compiling and sorting documents, preparing and posting invoices and credit and debit memos.

Working with collections personnel to verifying status of delinquent accounts and soliciting payments on overdue accounts.

I Worked as a general accountant in AL-Mutabagani Health Services Co.Ltd. (Jubail National Dispensary). My tasks were including Day to daybook keeping, Maintenance of daily cash collection, Maintenance of General Ledger daily Transactions and Preparation of Payroll.

Also, I was handling the fixed assets accounting.

Moreover, I assisted in the preparation of financial statements - balance sheet, income statement and Cash Flow Statement and annual budget reports.

I worked as a Tax Accountant at the Model Customs & Taxes Center (Temporary Admission). My roles were (1) accepting, reviewing, renewing and refunding the guarantees of the customs dealers including cash, banking, corporate, and personal securities, (2) Checking the balances of such companies with the customs department manually and electronically through a local network, (3) Examining customs-related complaints from dealers.
