Lead the operation dept. of 120+ employees including functions; order management, warehousing, transportation, fleet and reporting and analysis.
• Drive operational excellence and deploy best practices across all operational aspects to meet business target per sector and customer’s expectations
• Review and monitor various reports related to budgeting, sales revenue, logistics “Inbound & Out bound” , inventory and quality of service
• Facilitate the communication among different parties to obtain the best overall value - added solutions for the company
• Monitor budget and cost effectiveness to achieve company’s profitability goals
• Ensure that all staff are operating efficiency and the quality standards are met against company service level agreed with customers
• Work closely with the other dept. heads and other areas of business to assist with effective problem solving and ensure there is a good balance in terms of resources allocations and work flow
• Launch, install, integrate and use effectively ERP system across the company’s functions
• Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement and coach associates in quality tools and methodologies
Responsible for all of the followings: inventory Management, warehousing, transportation & distribution and involve with purchasing, procurement, customer services, production planning and customs.
• Manage the effective achievement of the Logistics department objectives through the leadership of the Logistics department
• Setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize the performance of subordinates and of the department.
• Prepare and recommend the Logistics department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs / revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
• Prepare and facilitate the tender process for Third Party Services (man power, transportation, security, facilities, and goods) and participate in vendor selection and negotiation together with the Supply Chain Director in order to reach an optimum conclusion in services and costs.
• Oversee the preparation and establishment of the infrastructure of the Receiving Centers (RC’s/DC’s) so that all RC’s are fully operable.
• Manage the day-to-day logistical operations of the receiving /dispatching process to ensure flawless execution of the logistical process.
• Arrange and plan for transportation and storage of dates in such a way that costs for transportation and external storage are minimized
Manage, implement and control logistics process
• Establish the warehouse from the scratch, layout, facilitates inside the warehouse.
• Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and keeping of warehouse inventory.
• Implement the sales targets, selling standards and corporate promotions campaigns for sales teams and agents to conform to at all times.
• Leading employees toward achieving financial and growth goals
• Apply and assist in up-dating the warehouses operations procedures.
• Responsible for strategic planning, management & administration as well as operational oversight, which will include the day-to-day supervision of staff.
