Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a power plant consisting of seven generators (70MW total) and their auxiliaries:
3 Wärtsilä PAAE Series (3 × 10MW)
2 Wärtsilä XAAE Series (2 × 10MW)
2 Bergen B35:40V20AG2 (2 × 10MW)

Manage and service the plant's utilities, including:
Fire Fighting System
Black Start Generator
Lubricating Oil Unit
Water treatment unit
Compressors Units: 4 Reciprocating SPERRE-XA090 (30 barg) and 2 Screw Gardner Denver (26 m2012)

• Oversee all daily operations and maintenance activities at the power plant, including:
- Equipment:
- 6 Caterpillar Gas Generators (Model 3520C)
- 4 Wartsila Gas Gensets (2 x 9L34SG and 2 x 16V34SG)
- Auxiliaries:
* Reciprocating and screw compressors.
* Ventilation system.
* Water treatment unit.
* Firefighting system.
* Emergency diesel black start generator.
• Perform and participate in all types of engine overhauls
• Schedule monthly planned maintenance with the maintenance manager
• Ensure daily inspection routines and reporting for all equipment in the power plant
• Coordinate with the operation shift engineer to schedule planned maintenance, aiming to achieve
monthly targets with minimum downtime
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance repairs, adhering to safety regulations
• Monitor the operation and performance of the facility through SCADA during shifts
• Operate the power plant in the absence of the operation shift engineer in both normal and emergency
situations, on both grid and island modes
• Gather O&M statistical data and trends for analysis before and after every maintenance, taking action as
needed to ensure smooth operation and optimal efficiency
• Record all maintenance data on a daily and monthly basis, including preventive and corrective work
orders
• Follow up on engine performance through analysis of SOS, water, and gas analysis

1. Supervise the servicing and/or repair of customer’s vehicles within the trade discipline(s) assigned.
2. Liaise with Receptionists to predict type and volume of future workload and understand needs of customers, advise Receptionists of any problems with the work on customers’ vehicles.
3. Report on performance of assigned team, individuals, facilities, equipment, tools and systems to Workshop Supervisor .
4. Inspect and carry out inspection and tests for compliance with specified standards on service or repair work and customers vehicles.
5. Report, record and return any incorrect or defective parts to Parts Group’s Stores.
6. Advise Service Garage Manager of Warranty Work encountered, advise Job Controller and Receptionist of Additional work encountered.
7. Follow the warranty instruction supplied by warranty manager.
8. Inspect work returned from Quality Controller, investigate causes and consult with worker to ensure curative Actions carry out on the job or specialist training, check equipment, tools or processes as necessary (corrective And preventive action) and record actions taken on Job Card
9. Apply the Group’s standard for housekeeping, personal safety and appearance to self and subordinates
10. Hold weekly meetings; discuss task delegation and review issues.
11. Assist in the interview and recruitment/retention of team members 12. Follow warranty policy, procedure and instructions given by warranty manager.
