Projects:
- Major overhauling & Re-commissioning for Atlas Copco Companders & BOG Compressors on board LNG carriers during the dry docking at N-KOM shipyard in Ras Laffan, Qatar.
- Commissioning & Start-up of Atlas Copco (Mafi trench) turbo expander-compressor system at MANSOURA PETROLEUM COMPANY
Job responsibilities:
- Erection checks, pre-commissioning and commissioning of turbo compressors, expansion turbines and cryogenic pumps
- Trouble shooting, Diagnose, Calibration & Preventive Maintenance on instrumentation, control systems and electrical components of all turbo machines and pumps
- Preparation of work and time schedules for the different service tasks
- Detailed reporting and documentation of executed service jobs
- Spare part recommendations to customers for regular service
- Interaction with the product companies concerning technical issues and customer queries
- Training of customers regarding operation and monitoring of their turbo machines
Maintenance:
- Participate in Build up of maintenance system as new starting company
-Prepare Scope of Work for plant service contracts and for certain contractor jobs.
- Planning and execution of preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance and overhaul of mechanical equipment :
-Good understanding of instrumentation & control system for Turbo Machinery
-Following and diagnostic of Machinery vibration analysis, certified from B&K
- Using SAP PM module
- Prepare maintenance procedures and training sessions for it.
-Spare parts control:
Define critical spare parts through Vulnerability Study ( Air Liquide Standard)
Communicate with vendors for spare parts technical specifications and quotations
Management systems:
- Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Participate in Implementation of ISO 9001.
- Participate in Plant Risk Assessment, JHA for routine and non routine work, other safety requirements.
Projects:
- Commissioning of Linde ASU GAN 30, 000 and Liquefier 200 TPD July 2009 - Feb 2010
- Implementation of SAP - PM module Jan 2011 - March 2011
Operation:
-Manage operation team of ASU ( 4 shift leader + 4 field technician)
-Process fundamentals of ASU (Air Separation Unit), operation & process control of ASU on normal operation, start up, shutdown and Deriming.
-Analysis process parameters and prepare plant production reports and KPI’s
-Coordinate with Supply Dept. for production and sales plans.
Maintenance:
-Prepare and control of maintenance budget up to 150 K USD.
- Planning and execution of preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance and overhaul of mechanical equipment :
Centrifugal compressors Oxygen Compressors, Turbo Expander: (Atlas Copco, CryoStar ), Pumps, Fans and Gear boxes, Heat Exchangers: shell and tubes, Plate Fin, Automatic and manual valves (Flowserve, Emerson, Samson)
- Good understanding of instrumentation & control system for Turbo Machinery
-Following and diagnostic of Machinery vibration analysis, certified from B&K
- Prepare maintenance procedures and training sessions for it.
-Spare parts control:
Define critical spare parts through Vulnerability Study ( Air Liquide Standard)
Communicate with vendors for spare parts technical specifications and quotations
Management systems:
-Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
-Participate in Implementation and accreditation of Air Liquide IMS, ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
-Participate in Plant Risk Assessment, JHA for routine and non routine work, other safety requirements.
Projects:
- Follow up contactors for mechanical tasks execution and completion.
-Commissioning and startup of rotating equipment (Atlas copco / Cameon / Cryo star ) activities include :
alignment, piping stress, foundation & leveling, oil system testing, oil flushing, valve checking, surge test, instrument loop checking, ESD testing, Motors testing, cooling system)
-Doing HAZOP study.
-Ready for start up review for new project commissioning and start up (Air Liquide standard),
-Project close up and following of project punch point.
Supervising the efficiency of ground equipment of air bases (technical support, maintaining, troubleshooting, spare parts…etc).
Teaching refrigeration and air conditioning for technicians
Thesis: (Effect of adding fine solid particles on hydraulic conveying of coarse solids by inclined pipelines) Courses: (Adv. Thermo dynamics, Instrumentation, Adv. Fluid dynamics , Math , Adv. heat transfer)
