Handling projects with RTA

• Interview customers/stakeholders in order to understand their business needs and translate them into functional specification design solutions for projects related to MOI (Ministry of Interior such as Exist/Entry, Immigration, Archiving, Visa, Nationality and Black List systems.
• Analyze business needs from various end-users & stakeholders.
• Research, gather and analyze data in support of business functions, proposed projects and systems requirements.
• Initiate prototype and have customer feedback and approval
• Analyze the requirements and develop a business process and workflow documents(SRS, BRD, Use Cases)
• Translate client business needs into IT functional systems.
• Coordinate directly with the appropriate Professional Services personnel to identify and maximize opportunities.
• Act as an internal consultant translating client needs into IT design solutions.
• Identify key projects through value-added research and analysis reports.
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project to ensure alignment of project scope of work.
• Assist in transforming business requirements to system design specifications.
• Execute planned requirements management activities while remaining flexible to changing requirements and project deadlines.
• Identify impacts on business processes based on detailed solutions and strategies.
• Prepare for an effective implementation process including user training, communication needs and organization changes that are designed in as core requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the business analysis function, promoting and enhancing the business analysis tools, techniques and approaches within the project

Understand, Brainstorm, document and prioritize business requirements and workflow processes across affected business areas

·2 Create detailed requirements that enable the chosen solution to be developed and tested with minimal analysis support including (Activity diagram, Conceptual Diagram, Glossary Document, Vision Document and Use Cases).

·3 Estimate work effort using standard methodologies

·4 Work with business owners and delivery technical team to develop optimal solutions


·5 Provide clarifications to the development team throughout the development process

·6 Coordinate/Participate in the testing of the business requirements

·7 Responsible for the project management activities related to CRM projects

·8 Manage the deliverable approval process essential to overall project approval

·9 Conduct User Acceptance Test with Business User (UAT)

Role Description

• Liaise with business managers and low-level users to understand and document business requirements across affected business areas.

• Understand, document and prioritize business requirements across affected business areas.

• Work with business owners and delivery technical team to develop optimal solutions.

Working Relationships

• Work with project sponsor to understand and document project objectives and scope.

• Work with business owners from affected business areas to understand current processes and to document and prioritize requirements.

• Work with delivery technical team to communicate business objectives and requirements, make decisions on delivery options and produce delivery costs and timescales.

• Work with projects to understand and manage project dependencies.

• Work with project manager/s to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues.

• Work with Finance to define accurate, meaningful and measurable business cases.

• Work with the business owners to define acceptance criteria.
Deliverables
• Project initiation documents defining high-level scope.

• Business requirements document describing the project's objectives, how the work was done and listing the requirements for each business area prioritized into mandatory, desirable and optional categories. Desirable and Optional requirements will have an associated business case which will allow the project sponsor to make informed decisions about delivery of the project.

• Detailed requirements that enable the chosen solution to be developed and tested with minimal analysis support including (Activity diagram, Conceptual Diagram, Glossary Document, Vision Document and Use Cases).

• Business cases defining the costs and benefits associated with requested changes.

• User Acceptance test plans.

• Requirements gathering from customer

• Get test cases from customer
• Simulate customer environment and test it
• Communicate with developers for any new requirements or customization needed by customer
• Install the software application at customer site
• Train the customer
• Make a test on the environment (pilot run)
• Execute a parallel run
• On-site support for customer to go-live
• Prepare the required documentation for customer through the implementation life-cycle
• Development of database functions and procedures and some reports
