o Leads the whole projects team in ensuring efficient and timely execution
o To set the goals and strategy to execute the projects in accordance with owners’ agreement and objectives.
o Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
o Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
o Responsible for the timely execution of the project within the budget and quality constraints and handling contractual administration.
o Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with safety regulations
o Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
o Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
o Meet contractual conditions of performance
o Review the work progress on daily basis
o Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
o Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
o Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
o Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
o Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
o Validate and control scope

o Overall responsible for projects progress, projects schedule and quality of work
o Ensure assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, projects objectives and design guidelines.
o Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and manage program of projects and project managers to ensure successful completion and coordination of all efforts.
o Prepare detailed construction cost estimates.
o Responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval signatures.
o Explanation of project scope and associated costs.
o Monitors progress, provides financial control and ensures quality of project.
o Responsible for ensuring that project managers:
- Manage the project team including architects. Engineers, construction managers and administrative support.
- Develop schedules and budgets for assigned projects.
- Identify and evaluates solutions to best meet project goals.
- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates.
- Work cooperatively with client representative to clarify specific needs and requirements and keep client up-to-date on projects status throughout construction process.
o Manager’s efforts of other corporate support functions such as legal, insurance and loss prevention, security and Government relations.
o Work cooperatively with appropriate senior management to develop overall program scope, strategy and requirements.
o Participate in or oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for designs, contractors and other outside vendors and selects vendors.
o Interacts with governmental branches to ensure that projects comply with all applicable legal requirements and regulations.
o Coordinate efforts with various departments such as planning, operations, engineering and finance.
o Makes presentations to senior management including Managing director.
o Hires managers and develop staff.
o Recommend personnel for special training,
o Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project program effectiveness.
o Study and analyze project specification and drawings in order to define construction requirements and acceptance criteria.
o Plan, monitor and control execution of work on site and verify compliance with approved shop drawing, construction schedule, specification and approved method statements
o Ensure that statutory health and safety regulations are observed at all times and safety on site is maintained at high standard.
o Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for foreman’s and subcontractors.
