• Organizes and supervises all vehicle repairs and maintenance work required for the Agency’s fleet, generators and water pumps, and the technical testing of vehicles, generators and water pumps before and after repair/maintenance.
• Coordinates with the Vehicle Control Officer the preventive maintenance of the vehicle fleet. Determines the repair/maintenance required.
• In coordination with the Vehicle Control Officer, establishes and controls the scheduled maintenance services for all Agency Vehicles.
• Raises, on daily basis, supply documents covering vehicle maintenance requirements needed.
• Responsible for determining requirements, the receipt of all MT spare parts and controls their use.
• Provides Supply control division with technical advice on storage and ordering of all Mt spare parts, including advice on minimum stock holding and future requirements.
• Supervises the preparation of proper job cards, vehicle technical inspection reports, vehicle cannibalization certificates and related administrative matters required in the Vehicle Maintenance Branch
• Ensures proper execution of all contracted automotive repair work to commercial maintenance or repair workshops.
• Responsible for inspecting and determining the fitness of all second hand serviceable automotive spare parts after repair.
• The custodian of all tools and equipment issued to the Vehicle Maintenance Division.
• Maintains up-to-date files on all Agency vehicles in the Field.
• Conducts driving tests of agency staff, and is responsible for the control and technical assessment of all staff in the Vehicle Maintenance Branch.
• Assists supervisor in preparing the annual budget for the Vehicle Maintenance Branch
• Drafts all correspondence related to the Vehicle Maintenance Branch.
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
• Coordinator for Engineering programs of KYTC (Autotronics, Smithery, welding, and Aluminum Fabrication).
• Participating on accreditation of Autotronics program.
• Preparing material and Teach the following subjects in Autotronics program:
Introduction to Automotive Engineer.
Automotive Electrical and Electronic systems.
Injection and ignition system.
Automotive Workshop Management.
Gasoline Engine Management
Diesel Engine Management.
Electronic controlled systems in the vehicle (Transmission, Braking system, Airbags, Electronic steering system, Electronic suspension system.
Air-Conditioning system.
Engineering workshop.
Engineering subject for program (Engineering mechanics, Theory of machine, Thermo-fluid, and Engineering material).
• Design and give many training courses for technicians of vehicle maintenance workshop - UNRWA, the courses had been in following topics:
Engine Management (Diesel, and Gasoline engines).
Electronics Braking systems.
Safety systems (Air-bag) and theft deterrents (Immobilizer).
Electric power steering (EPS) system.

• Prepare a request for purchase for Autotronics program requirements (equipment, tools, and training kits).
• In coordination with chief supply Clerk of KYTC, purchase and inspect the requirements for the program.
• Supervision of graduation project of Autotronics students "Formula students car", (Design, Built, race car)
• Obtaining different offers from European companies for the machines and equipments to be used in this factory and evaluating them.
• Following up all the establishment stages of the factory from the beginning.
• Attending a course of machines operations for one month at the manufacturers sites which are as follows:
Cincinnati-production lines manufacturer-Austria
Sica- Downstream machines manufacturer-Italy
Mixaco- Raw material mixers manufacturer- Germany
Sciteq- Lab testing equipments manufacturer-Denmark
• Design and commissioning of infrastructure needed for the machines to run such as cooling water network, compressed air network, Ducts for pipes & wires….etc.
• Equipments commissioning and alignment to make them ready to run.
• Following up the production line start up with the German expert coming from Cincinnati Extrusion company.
• Starting and maintaining the production line and following up all the production stages.
• Training technicians on starting and maintaining the production line.
• Training the quality control engineers on using the test equipments and on the tests.
• Guiding and instructing some engineers and specialists regarding the product manufacturing, testing and mounting. (municipalities, private and governmental institutions, UNRWA, …etc.)
• Working with the engineers and administration team on applying quality management and quality control.
