* Coach staff to ensure they hold the necessary skills, and have the correct procedures and policy to provide services consistent with the Company’s values.
* Maximizes up-sells and walk-up sales based on vehicle availability, utilizing established sales techniques and dialogues. Programs and services include protection options, refueling program, special promotions and future reservations.
* Supports staff to achieve their sales targets.
* Reviews completed contracts with customers to verify accuracy of information and explains rates and charges.

*Utilizes IA sales control and follow-up system.

*Knows and understands the state, and local laws which govern automobile sales.
*Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with IA standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
*Attends product and sales training courses as requested by show room manager / Supervisor.
*Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
*Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation to the customer.
*Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance department, along with properly completed paperwork.
*Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established IA policies.
*Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
*Coordinate with the service department for pre-delivery inspection to ensure sold vehicle for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
*Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
*Introduces customers to service & spare part departments personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
*Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
*Maintains a prospect development system.
*Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
*Responds to all pages and calls in a timely manner.
*Carry out any temporary assignments your manager requires from you.
* Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries.
* Calculate premiums and establish payment method.
* Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks.
* Sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies, including automobile, fire, life, property, medical and dental insurance or specialized policies such as marine, farm/crop, and medical malpractice.
* Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the person or property to be insured, and to discuss any existing coverage.
* Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
* Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans.
* Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy.
* Select company that offers type of coverage requested by client to underwrite policy.
* Develop marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or companies who sell insurance.
