Position Summary
• Supervise all gate services (Inspection, Stuffing, X-Stuffing, Stripping, Survey, Cargo Treatment, Consolidation/Weight progresses, Containers Cleanings, Patching Cargo Lashing, OOG handling, Delinquency/smuggling Legally Tracking, Operationally handling the unpaid activities due to internal damages by claims mind with the minimum cost as much as possible, handle/track local IMO shipments & serve all local shipments/customers with commercial minds for business saving) activities in the terminal.
• Ensure to apply SCCT policies and targets concerning gate.

Major Accountabilities
NO Priority Time
1. Follow up daily customs inspection for import containers.
2. Prepare and follow up any x-stuffing requested.
3. Prepare for and follow up any survey requested from the line.
4. Prepare, request, and follow up the consolidation with SGC, and planning.
5. Request additional gangs for performing inspection; or x-stuffing.
6. Follow up and control gate controllers in the yard whom proceed with the inspection cycle.
7. Follow up Full inspection cases and evaluate if the process not deserve to collect full inspection charges.
8. Check and follow up the mailbox on each new correspondence especially those concerned with gate service.
9. Update a report for export containers services.
10. Update a tracking report for any special service requested from the line, and sending it to finance.
11. Follow up and overcome
12. Overcome any challenges delay customs work.
13. Follow up any pending issue related to gate services.
14. Pass new instructions to the subordinates, and ensure that SOP instructions are followed by subordinates in right way.
15. Innovate or pass any new ideas to improve gate service work.
16. Doing any extra tasks required by directors.

Develop the data platform for sourcing and displaying real-time port cycle time stamps.

o RA “Risk Assessment” analyzer and creator for all gate activities.
o Man & Machine segregating process inside inspection yards for best safety regulation against the most beneficial occupation by the best operating efficiency “Pending”.
o Gate Safety Initiatives advisor & analyzer before coordinating with the OPS equipment/OPS safety committee.
o TOS Navis implementation (GAP analysis & Process configuration) and train Gate Services Team.
o Time Saving in Financial Activities Sheets”2014” for recording/revision by using pivot tables and train team on it for further usage.
o Legal & Custom Documentary Session Process & orientation regarding SCCT Point Of View of (process Automating/Paperless) with the minimum liability requirements.

Export/Import planner & controller in Gate Dep. Operations. Handle all export & import containers even empty or full which passing through the gate Operations dealings transactions with customs port then finalize all concerning documents in the system then handle the shipment in terminal yard to be stacked in their logical/proper locations/stack to be loaded in their correct vessels with fewer cost as avoid any unacceptable movement this concerning to the export shipment as gating in but for all import shipments to be the reverse as gating out.
Acting as Shift Senior as a Gate Export/Import Senior planner & Controller, already shift senior for months in order to execute the amended SOP "Standard Operation Procedures".
Training as well and have a good knowledge regarding to logistics activities such as port logistics, purchasing logistics and customs logistics.
From time to time I have been excluded from shifts on duty in order to carry on business in projects gate plans like "dealing with costumers with maximum satisfaction with maximum cost reduction & saving", treating with shipping lines via to dealing EDI messages "Electronic Data Interchange"
Worked in ''MAERSK LINE EGYPT'' in operations section, export department as a customer services rep. responsible for releasing the export containers, also responsible for all containers movement through the SCCT gate controller whether export or import and which capacity needed, have to follow updating all these movement on the system by EDI & analyze errors which result from same to discuss these issues with specialists in order to develop our working, same in Port Said old port responsible of containers movement & calculating their storages and which capacity needed.
