Role: Pre-Sales Senior Software Engineer :
1. Supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions.
2. Provides coaching and professional development to sales team-members associated in order to enhance their product knowledge, and technical sales skills.
3. Collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs.
4. Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customer's met and unmet needs, and recommends customer's suitable solutions.
5. Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales team to potential risks of deal closure.
6. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
7. Reporting to the Sales or business line manager responsible for the sales team.
Role: Post-Sales Senior Software Engineer:
1. Manages project implementation activities following a customer sale.
2. Ensures customer implementations are completed on-time and within budget.
3. Supporting the productivity and profitability goals of the sales team.
4. Collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure implemented projects accurately address customer needs.
5. Reporting to the Sales or business line manager responsible for the sales team.
