Plan, coordinate, and supervise lifting operations at site. Prepare and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method
statements. Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and according to approved procedures. Supervise crane
operations, lifting equipment, and rigging activities. Coordinate with site teams, crane operators, riggers, and project
management. Inspect lifting gears, tools, and equipment to ensure validity and safety compliance. Ensure lifting
operations comply with international standards and project requirements. Monitor critical lifts and ensure proper
execution. Verify load capacities, lifting arrangements, and equipment certifications. Conduct toolbox talks and lifting
safety briefings. Maintain lifting records, inspection reports, and documentation. Identify lifting hazards and implement

● Carry out lifting equipment inspection, load testing and NDT for third-party inspection houses across Tanzania, Uganda,
Kenya, DRC and Ethiopia.
● Clients and sites include Schlumberger, TotalEnergies, CNOOC, Barrick Gold (DRC), Dangote Cement, Tanga Cement,
Sogea Satom, KEC International and Transtrac, plus port, power and rail projects such as the Tanzania shipping
terminal, Swissport, Sindila and Karuma power stations, and the Yeni Marmara electric railway lifting department.
● Train crane, Hiab, telehandler, slinger and rigger operators to international standards.
● Prepare and review lift plans, permits and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and keep the supporting QC records.

Ran the remote field base for Tullow Oil Kenya and African Oil drilling campaigns.
● Handled logistics, personnel-on-board (POB) counts, load manifests, lift plans work permits and subcontractor
compliance.
● Kept HSE running on site — SOPs, PPE, equipment maintenance, daily safety meetings and end-of-day security checks.
● Completed Baker Hughes radiation safety and BOSS training for handling wireline radiation sources.

● Carried out NDT on drill string components — drill pipe, HWDP, drill collar, BHA, MWD/LWD tools — to DS-1 and API RP
7G-2, and casing/tubing inspection to API 5A5 and 5B.
● Ran ultrasonic flaw /wall-thickness gauging, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and visual thread inspection, plus
hydro-test witnessing and full-length drifting of casing and tubing.
