Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site Operation and Support for core VAS nodes (SMSC, MMSC, EtopUp, USSD, Bulk SMS, etc ..)
- Accepting and deploying new services, upgrades and projects.
- Responding to any queries and complaints from other business/operation units regarding any VAS node
- Timely resolution of escalated problem & trouble tickets.
- Routine monitoring & sanity checks for proper operation of VAS nodes, products and services.
- Debugging of issues. Provide sufficient data (logs, configurations, traces)
- Generate weekly / monthly report for VAS nodes
- Participation in showing innovation/out-of-box thinking to bring value to the department.
- Etc..
Work in shift basis 24/7 and dealing with all company teams to assign cases on them to solve daily problems like billing, provisioning, Data Network, Applications Operations, Access Operations, Access Maintenance, Core Operations, Core Maintenance, Voice Communication, Transmission Operations and Transmission Solutions.
Monitoring and reporting on daily basis different types of Data Network alarms using NNM (Network Node Manager) Monitoring tool and informing Data Network team.
Monitoring Mobinil shops links all over the country and start troubleshooting if any link is down.
Monitoring and reporting Billing, EAI, Unix and some provisioning nodes using TeMip Monitoring tool.
I was in a trainee program. I passed through several departments as:
1) Safety department.
2) Corrosion Department (as the company is a petroleum pipelines).
3) Measurements department.
4) Mechanics department.
5) off-shore department.
I joined SIEMENS Ltd. (Alexandria Branch) Communication Department for training, I achieved a certificate as a result of a training on Telecommunication system & Networks.
It is a joint venture between Orascom Construction Industries and ALICO U.A.E. The company is involved in the manufacturing of Aluminium fabrications, Glazing Curtain walls and glass processing.
I passed through different departments in the plant from preparing the raw material till finishing also trained in the control unit of the plant.
• Preparing for Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Attended Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) course.
GPA=3.3(VeryGood) graduation project grad=A(Excellent) graduation project was about 3G mobile generation: CDMA2000 Modulator using FPGA technology. Basic Knowledge about (softwares) : 1) MAtlab and full knowledge of (FDAtool). 2) c / c ++. 3) xilinx.
