I• Conduct workshops in compliance with the Estidama Integrated Development Process (EIDP) with facilitation by the PQP.
• Ensuring Pearl Community Rating system is implemented and complied accordingly.
• Visits and inspections of camps, including dates and actions taken and summary of invoices associated with maintenance expenditures.
• Meeting minutes, action items and team member responsibilities from key workshops held as part of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP).
• Ensuring site features of ecological value have been protected during construction.
• Ensuring materials purchased at project are in compliance with procurement estidama questionnaire.
• Ensuring waste are minimized, reused and recycled at least 70% of total construction and demolition waste.
• Maintaining all documents with regards to estidama.
• Ensure regulatory compliance is upheld and adherence to the Construction Environment Management Plan (CEMP) is met through both.
• Liaison and interaction with the Environmental Management Team of Client and UPC (Urban Planning Commissioning of Abu Dhabi).
• Implementation and monitor the implementation of the CEMP to ensure requirements are complied.
• Prepare incident and non-conformance reports and assist the individual line Managers where required for investigating incidents and maintaining a complaint and incident register.
• Undertaking regular inspections/audits of the construction site to assess compliance with the project specific CEMP and to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain attendance registers for all induction and training.
• Conducting suitable training and ‘tool box’ talks (TBT) throughout the duration of the works to ensure that all staff and sub-contractors understand CEMP and their environmental responsibilities.
• Conducting daily, weekly and monthly inspections of CEMP and submits reports to Client.
• Conducting Environmental Impact Assessment with regards to the method statement.
• Rectify any non-conformances identified during weekly and monthly site inspections. Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and ensure implementation within agreed timeframe;
• Inform Athena Project Manager, HSEM and Proponent SER of any received complaints immediately and discuss appropriate actions with the Project Manager.
• Attending all HSE inspection, audit and investigation and advice the team accordingly.
• Reviewing plan and procedures and formalizing JHA.
• Implementation and verification of project HSE Management System.
• Preparation, review of project HSE Plan and procedures and implement accordingly.
• Provision of suitable and current information and supervision concerning health and safety policies and practices in line with in-country regulations and international standards and best practice.
• Liaising with client personnel, senior management, and a range of engineering staff to ensure projects are compliant and completed in accordance HSE requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that project development is in compliance with mandatory company HSE requirements and regulations.

Implementation & verification of Company HSE Management System
Control of Contractor and subcontractor HSE Personnel
Coordinates with the Project HSE Manager and reports to the Site/Project Manager.
Responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and reporting on the performance of the
HSE activities and performs audits directly or through specialists assigned from the
corporate organization at his request.
Coordinate the arrangements with, and assist as required, the Third Party Auditors
and Company auditors.
Coordinate with the Construction Manager, Construction Supervisors, to ensure that the work is being performed as required by project HSE management system.
Ensuring all subcontractors/suppliers and visitors on site comply with project HSE
Requirements.
Review the necessary work methods and procedures for working safely at site.
Ensuring all Emergency Response planning is in accordance with project
requirements and that Emergency Response training is carried out.
Advice to Project Manager and Line Managers on HSE issues.
Preparation, administration and application of the safety incentive scheme.
Review and implement the approved Safety Audit recommendations of client.
Preparing, reviewing & Implementation of Risk Assessment on project activities.
Updating project risk register.
Coordination with site nurse and preparation of quarterly health surveillance report.
Formalizing of safety alert and quarterly newsletter.
Chairing of weekly HSE meeting.
Recording HSE minutes.
Conducting accident/incident investigations.
