Manage all logistics procedures starting from receiving the P.O. till final delivery to achieve the corporate client’s requirements by coordinating on a regular basis with factories departments and all export/ logistics involved parties inside and outside Egypt to ensure that the right products and quantities reach the right place at the right time with the approved shipping documents requested to satisfy customer’s demands.
-Review the sales contracts/purchase orders and study with the sales team coordinating with all relative parties all terms and conditions of supply and amend if any.
- Coordinate with the factories departments (technical, planning, production, quality)
and follow up to ensure On-Time Delivery of consignments and solve any problem that occurred
- Participate in preparing the corporate ISO procedures and KPI’s system.
- Develop the reporting system and logistics modules in Oracle and Intranet applications
-Select, evaluate, and approve freight offers and contracts with shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking agent, customs broker, and all logistics/export-involved suppliers to meet the corporate requirements with optimization cost and effective delivery service.
- Approve logistics costs and fees, ensuring that they match the running purchase orders/contracts and average market price.
-Manage the implementation of the shipping documents especially those affected by L/C according to and comply with The Letters of Credit Terms & Conditions. (UCP Rev. 600) and monitor the negotiating of the shipping documents with advising and intermediate banks, follow up until receiving the proceeds value presented at the maturity date.
-Ensure the payment security, and transaction process for each order and monitor that the production process is according to the planned schedule.
-Managing all transportation activities and communications with all governmental organizations, authorities, ports, and inspection companies that are following the export procedures in Egypt as well as managing all customs clearance activities, regulations, and laws.
-Negotiating the production progress report with the planning department showing my advice according to the priorities of the orders.
-Prepare the export plan per month /quarter evaluating each client monthly, quarter, and annually, and monitoring the company’s target.
-Prepare the logistics annual budget and relevant logistics management reports
-Manage, develop, and motivate the logistics team to ensure meeting the department’s objectives and key performance indicators.
-Responsible for setting the purchase orders, logistics, and consolidation handling
by coordinating with the clearance agencies
-Supervising and reviewing the implementation of the shipping documents affected
by L/C according to and comply with the Letters of Credit Terms & Conditions. (UCP Rev. 600)
-Negotiating the shipping documents with the advising and intermediate banks in and out of Egypt, follow up until receiving the proceeds value presented at the maturity dates.
-Handling and bargaining price matrix of shipping companies, operating & supervise the container transportation, buses, and trucks from and to all Egyptian seaports coordinating with the truckers’ contractors.
-Ensure that customer/company requirements for logistic documents are fulfilled
-Fulfill and administrate the local governmental requirements, approvals, and all
Legal documentation required related to the export cycle for the assigned. countries.
-Preparing the export report per month and evaluating each client (amount, volume, Item) monthly and annually.
-Negotiating the progress report with the planning department showing my advice according to the priorities of the orders.
Responsible for issuing the proforma invoices and setting the purchase orders to the production
department
-Make a thorough study depicting the production plan.
-Implementing the shipping documents for the L/Cs or CAD
-Set up shipping forecast and work to achieve targets
-Handling the price matrix of shipping companies and selecting logistics suppliers.
-Follow up on all banking procedures and communications regarding the negotiation of L/Cs
-Executing all customs clearance at the port of loading.
-Preparing the export report per month, (ton, amount, item) and evaluating the clients’ positions.
-Follow up and maintain company ISO procedures and standards. responsible for export sales activities for VITRAC’S Products
