• Hajj 1431/1433 - Optimization Shift Lead for Hajj Pro-Active/Reactive Optimization Team to take necessary actions in order to maintain the QoS in Mashaer/Makkah Areas during Peak Hajj Time
• End to end handling of the NSN-Huawei Swap Project (~1000 Sites including 2G/3G) in Region 2 (Riyadh-Qassim), from NSN side
• Supervised the DCS Refarming Project for over 300 sites in Jeddah/Taif areas to vacate 1800 MHz band for LTE deployment. Aim was to minimize the impact of refarming on Quality/Capacity of the existing network
• Successful implementation of Jeddah Freq Plan through Netact Optimizer. E2E Planning/Implementation/Post Implementation Performance evaluation of new Freq Plan
• Daily Monitoring/Analysis of assigned BSCs to ensure optimum QoS
• Weekly worst performing cells analysis, investigation & resolution
• KPI improvement by fine tuning of BSS parameters, Neighbour/Frequency Audit and Removal of Database Discrepancies

Worked as a Part Time employee and later did Master Thesis with BenQ Mobile from March 2006 - September 2006.
This thesis work mainly focused on the issues related to the delivery of Interactive TV like services with DIMS (Dynamic Interactive Multimedia Scenes) in mobile broadcast environments. With the simulation results, guidelines have been setup for the selection of Application Layer FEC parameters, Video coding settings and optimum Base Station Transmit Power, ultimately offering a better Rich Media experience to DIMS subscribers. Also the results have been classified on the basis of user mobility models.
Worked as Internee and later as part-time student employee in Siemens Com MN (Mobile Networks) from Feb 2005 - Feb 2006. The tasks included:
• Workaround for planning of 4G FLASH-OFDM wireless networks using the existing Siemens RF Network Planning Tool, TornadoN
• Development of a comprehensive Link Budget Tool for FLASH-OFDM network planning including a corresponding User Manual
• Location Specific evaluation and graphical representation of FLASH-OFDM drive test data
• Development of Link Budget Tool for WiMAX network planning
• Marking of New Cell sites for Capacity and Coverage Enhancement based on Traffic patterns, Marketing Reports and Subscriber density
• Complete Cell Site designing including Antenna selection, proposing azimuths, tilts, transmission heights and radio configuration
• Preparation of Design Documents and Radio Technical Documents for new Cell Sites
• Micro Layer/Repeater Planning for capacity enhancement at hotspots/grey areas
