• Establish standardized recruitment and selection program
• Manage the development of a sophisticated manpower planning process
• Devise, run and evaluate selection processes including interviews, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires and various group activities
• Conduct selection process and interviews for graduate recruitment and more senior vacancies
• Identify and prioritize sourcing channels for relevant candidates and initiate contact (. through computer databases, networks, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, recruitment agencies, employee referrals and other media)
• Liaise with recruitment agencies and headhunters to fill vacancies
• Plan recruitment advertisements and events for different divisions
• Formulate and update job descriptions for all positions and decide how, where and when jobs are advertised
• Refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization and make hiring recommendations when appropriate
• Provide professional support and advice on recruitment to all divisions
• Train staff in interviewing techniques and on the role of the assessor
• Stay up to date with current employment legislation and ensure that managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes
• Ensure adherence to all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques by employees and managers
• Conduct regular meetings with management team to update status of recruiting activities, hiring results and progress of candidates in the selection process
• Guide the recruitment staff and follow up with them the daily recruitment operation.
• Generate recruitment related reports.
• Pursue any other recruitment related activities as directed by the Human Resources Manager.
• Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.
• Identify roles to be filled within the organization approved by the HR Manager and any other involved parties.
• Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time.
• Responsible for Manpower Budget.
• Assist the HR Manager in designing job descriptions.
• Update the organizational structure as and when required.
• Responsible for sourcing for suitable candidates for available positions and identify suitable recruitment channels.
• Design recruitment advertisements.
• Meet walk-in applicants, collects and assesses CVs.
• Screen applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications; summarize CVs for easier evaluation by the departmental heads.
• Obtain and assess all credentials of the candidates.
• Forward collected CVs to the concerned departmental heads for evaluation and interviews.
• Schedule interviews and ensure departmental heads gives feedback on each candidate.
• Develop assessment tools for selection process.
• Send interview feedback to candidates.
• Draft employment letters and contracts for selected candidates.
• Conduct new employee orientation and apprises employee of benefit options.
• Maintain an active and organized data bank of applicants for various positions.
• Coordinate the entire Orientation process.
• Generate recruitment related reports.
