The company supported and converted an old VB financial application into web application for one of the biggest Libyan governmental organizations ("Organization for Development of Administrative Centers" ODAC) and developing HR application for a real estate company in Tripoli.
Project Manager Role:
Responding to RFPs by preparing technical proposals and assisting in preparing financial proposals (specially in the resources & cost areas).
Managing the recruitment process from determining the required persons and their job descriptions till the final selection.
Putting plans & schedules for current and future projects.
Managing a staff of developers, testers and support engineers from the initiation phase of the project till the final delivery.

Gathering Requirements by conducting meetings with customers & from old VB 6 Application.
Documenting the business requirements & designing applications based on it.

Constructing a framework for a financial package using VS.Net 2005, SQL Server 2000, and 2005 as a back end, MS Application Blocks, SQL Server Reporting Services and settling standards for development (Code documentation, error handling, …etc).
Gathering requirements either by reverse engineering old SW (developed by VB 6) or meetings with different internal stake holders in the company and field experts. Documenting the requirements to functional requirements, non-functional, system requirements, business rules, and Analysis Diagrams using Enterprise Architect.
Transferring requirements into design and documenting this design through using multiple UML Diagrams (Class Diagram, Sequence diagrams) using Enterprise Architect and database design.
Assigning tasks to team of developers, coordinating between them, monitoring progress, and participating in research for technical problems, testing products to make sure that implementation follows the standards and on a high degree of quality.
Preparing schedules and reporting project status to management using some report formats for collecting and reporting the status using MS Project & MS Excel
