• Support to prevent accidents and Injuries from the work place.
• Raise Safety awareness for all employees
• Co-ordinate annual hygiene, Safety and Environmental measurements and follow up for corrective actions.
• Implement Hazardous material control global program.
• Periodical Safety observations tours for all work place.
• Identify plant areas needs for personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Incidents investigations, Notifications, tracking and analysis for corrective actions.
• Development, update and maintain of OHSAS 18001 policies and procedures.
• Provides occupational Hygiene audit to plant areas and follow up for corrective actions.
• Ensure adequate Safety and Hygiene trainings for staff, technicians, visitors, contractor and safety team.
• Lead in periodic Safety team meetings and participate effectively in sub-committee meetings.
• Raise Safety and Hygiene critical issues to plant management.
• Co-ordinate Plant Safety Review Board monthly meetings.
• Review pre-task plans for contractor’s activities.
• Confirm annual medical checks with company clinic.
• Enhance Safety awareness by weekly safety topics for workers and staff.
• Ensure communication of the QHSE Policy to all employees, contractors and other interested parties.
• Implement fire & safety training program to all company staff.
• Carry out periodical inspections on all company’s fire & safety equipment at sites.
• Identify hazards related to the company’s activities at sites, assess associated risks, and implement established programs to manage these risks.
• Implement & train staff on emergency preparedness measures, response.
• Maintain liaison with local governmental emergency response authorities and other related agencies & interested parties, and ensure legal & other requirements are met.
• Monitor & report HSE performance on regular basis.
• Monitor compliance & assist in implementation of the Company’s Permit To Work System.
• Investigate incidents & near misses and provide recommendations for corrective & preventive actions.
• Carry out evacuation drills at all facilities and measure performance.
• Plans & ensure the correct implementation of internal and external Quality; Health, Safety and Environment audits.
• Review findings with auditee and submit audit reports and follow-up corrective/preventive actions and recommend for area of continual improvement.
• Held all Safety Meetings (Pre-Tour Meetings, Pre-Job Meetings, and Daily Meetings with company staff).
Shall support and advice on proper implementation of QM-HSE system through sound implementation of HSE procedures and instructions in particular procedures having effect on the QM-HSE system as follows:
- Safe Job Analysis (SJA)
- Work Permit /Electrical Isolation
- Lifting Operations
- Incident Investigation
- STOP System
• Formulate, implement and review work procedures to ensure effectiveness and
Efficiency to meet quality requirements.
• Applies statistical process control methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes for continual improvement.
Responsible for the safe operation, design, testing, and troubleshooting of high
voltage systems used in GIS substation 220/132/66/11 KV.
ô¸ Investigates and analyzes complex disturbances and failures and identifies the
causes. Develops and implements solutions.
ô¸ Inspection of, batteries, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers and field
instrumentation.
ô¸ Implement and monitor permits to work system and Lock out Tag Out system.
