Duties:

System analysis, design, development and implementation of new software applications for various departments of the company. To provide support to users for existing and new applications.

Assist the DBA in common database administration tasks including backup and query optimization.

Accomplishments:

Designed, developed and implemented Weaving Production System for MK Sons Weaving. The system records daily production of 48 weaving units. It generates reports including Fabric quality wise production, machine wise production & efficiency and operator wise production and efficiency etc.

Developed and implemented Yarn & Fabric Stocks System for MK Sons Weaving. The system records receipt and dispatch of yarn and grey fabric stock from and to various parties. It generates various reports including quality wise yarn and fabric stocks, party wise yarn receipts and party wise fabric dispatched etc.


Analyzed, redesigned and modified Accounts Management System according to user requirements and implemented in the Finance department. The system provided options for creating multi-level Chart of Accounts, entering various types of Vouchers and posting. The system generated a variety of reports including party ledger, bank ledger, day book, voucher summary, trial balance and cash flow etc.

Duties:

Maintenance, troubleshooting and user support for the Integrated Production and Inventory ERP system in the Mills Division. The system recorded production of knitting and dyeing machines and the inventory of plain yarn, dyed yarn, grey fabric and dyed fabric. More than 30 data entry operators worked 24/7 for data entry. I was the main point of contact for resolving all system related problems.

Development of various reports for the Management and end-users. These reports mainly include stock reports that provide real time figures of yarn fabric inventories.

Advising and providing support to the DBA team in the performance tuning of heavy reports involving complex queries and PL/SQL statements.

Accomplishments:

Developed/modified more than 300 informative and complex reports for the Fabric Management System to meet user requirements.
