o Responsible for the improvement of the Operational System of the company by building a strong workforce of Professionals on all areas covered by the Operations Department.
o Manage the projects by planning an effective method of strategies to meet targets and Client’s Satisfaction.
o Manage all projects by ensuring the target programs are being carried out to its optimum level at all times and monitor the progress of the completed works for the satisfaction of the clients and in accordance with the budget plan.
o Execute the projects within the agreed time frame while ensuring the quality and safety standards of the project.
o Provide conceptual estimates, feasibility studies, and cost estimates, and coordinate the production of basic design plans and construction documents.
o Handle a large team of Estimators, Senior Estimators and Quantity Surveyors including the Planning, Design, Procurement, Production and Execution.
o Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, construction specifications, procurement, estimates, submittals, financial reports, and legal documents.
o Supervise estimation and tendering activities.
o Monitor the Preparation of bills of quantities (BOQs) & bills of materials for bidding
o Provide Technical support/assistance in procurement and negotiating contract.
o Handle cost monitoring and budgeting of projects.
o Provide guidelines to cost estimates / detailed breakdowns.
o Analyze the estimations of Manpower, Equipment, Material, Consumables & other Costs for bidding.
o Compile the technical/ commercial bid documents including manpower & equipment deployment schedules, project schedules and organization charts, etc.
o Coordinate with design team for proposal drawings for tender submissions.
o Supervise and coordinate with sales team and structural team for structural calculations.
o Provide Pre-Construction Support for a Project.
o Participate in the Planning & formulation of design alternatives & solutions for major construction projects.
o Review and report on the clients' enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid.
o Involved in developing and estimating business processes that will ensure applicability at the project level.
o Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements.
o Actively participate in the management of various tenders
o Overseas the Operations by reviewing high levels of deliverables across projects.
o Communicates effectively with Clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative strategies and solutions.
o Provides leadership to all intercompany Departments
o Responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
o Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
o Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
o Coordinate with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
o Preparing Payment Application.
o Monthly Project Cost preparation and Presentation.
o Site Visit & attending per-tender meetings.
o Obtain material price and sub-contractor price form the market.
o Negotiation with vender and sub- contractors.
o Evaluation and finalization of sub-contractor quotation & material price.
o Preparation of letter of intent agreement for sub-contractors.
o Project co-ordination with clients and contractors.
o Preparation of bills for variation works.
o Certification of sub-contractor payments.
o Preparation of progressive payment bill
o Assessing the Interim Valuations, Variations/ extra works & contractual claims.
o Checking & certifying the sub-contractor Interim Valuations.
